I spent one night at the Gallery Inn before heading to another part of Puerto Rico. When first walking onto the property, I was already awed. There's so much beauty everywhere you look- from the sculptures, to the birds, to the antiques, to the flora, the whole place is just filled with hidden gems. I was taken up to my... More

We have never stayed in a place as unique and eclectic as the Gallery Inn. If you like places that are out of the ordinary, this is for you. Prior to booking I had read some reviews that said the place was dirty. The bottom line is that the hotel is in a building that dates back to the 1500s... More

Got to San Juan Nov 4th 2016. Taxi to Hotel about 30 minutes. Outside looks like a regular residents. Inside is a lovely mix of art, flora and foliage. Parrots around the hotel. Old school 1800 building doors and flooring and with fountains. We stayed in the library room. Air conditioner in room. Owner a artist: Painter and sculpture. At... More

Very interesting hotel with all rooms being different. Lots of great open air gardens to explore and relax in. Lots of steps so be prepared. The pool was very unique and fun to sit in and have a drink at the end of the day.

I booked the Gallery inn because it looked amazing, I´m the kind of person that loves places like that, I saw by the pics that I might struggle with some of the steps and that is why I called the inn before booking to make sure they had rooms at ground level, as I have walking difficulties and was travelling... I've had only generally positive experiences at the Galeria Inn in Old San Juan. Don't expect a five star hotel but do expect a unique experience that will give you stories to tell years into the future. Celebrated pianists are known to stay at the inn and play the grand piano in one of the (somewhat dusty) parlors at unexpected... More

My wife Marianne and I stayed at the Gallery Inn October 2015 and decided to stay there again this year. This time her brother Michael and sister-in-law Barbara joined us on our visit to Puerto Rico. The Gallery Inn is such an amazing place. It is small, quaint, eclectic, interesting, historic and just the kind of place you do not want... More

The worst experience I've ever had to reach the rooms on the second floor you have to climb some uncomfortable stairs and unsafe for a person with disability and the owner resulven taunting them. Dirty rooms with dust and cobweb you can smell the little cleaning they have. reaching the rooms cockroaches came in the bathroom and old paint peeled... More

I've been here a few times and have strongly and aggressively encouraged people to come visit when they vacation in Puerto Rico, everyone has loved it so far! Amazing scenery, friendly staff, breathtaking space. If you're adventurous and open to something different than your regular hotel you must come here.
