I liked Posada! It was SO centrally located and there are tons of restaurants close by. You can even see one of the forts right off the balcony! It's literally at the end of the street. I was a first time solo female traveler and I didn't feel uncomfortable in the area (police Kinda hang out around because the governor...

People are really nice and handle the check in very professionally. The rooms are clean and the common areas are used for hanging out and meeting new people. The is a lot of bathrooms and the kitchen is well equipped. Definitely worth a stay!

Excellent location in the old town, close to the main sites and nightlife. Unfortunately run as a "profit at the detriment of anything else" philosophy. Biggest letdown was the staff, totally disinterested in providing a service and one guy in particular had only one thing on his mind (the girls who were staying there). Breakfast, that was advertised when booking,...

The room was pretty barren the beds not the most comfortable but it served its purpose which was a cheap place to stay while in Puerto Rico. The location is perfect and literally in the middle of Old San Juan walking distance to every major attraction and the cruise port. Easy to get a cab from here too to head...

Clean basic hostel with a great price, location and nice staff. Expect nothing besides the bare necessities but it's perfectly adequate if all you need is a decent bed, clean room and somewhere to store your stuff while you explore San Juan!

Pros: Good working AC and fridge, comfortable bed and pillows, clean sheets, fluffy clean towels, feels safe and secure and was nice and quiet the night I was there. Cons: no warm water from the bathroom faucets (atleast not on the 6th floor), barely lukewarm water in the shower, the biggest frustration was the lack places to put your things...

My only real major complaint with this place is that while the wifi is free, it's only available in the public sitting areas. Which means, if you want to Skype with your bf or mom, or whoever else, you have to do it in public in front of everyone who happens to be around. If you want to watch Netflix...

Hadn't been to PR in awhile and the Posada San Francisco was perfect for relaxing, feeling safe and just enjoying some warm weather and friendly people. Thank you! I'll definitely return. Lockers are available for valuables but the place is pretty safe!

WOW !!! Based on a visit here in 2011, I decided to again stay at the Posada San Francisco hostel last week. My first visit was an overall excellent experience. I am pleased to say that nothing has changed. This place is safe, clean and one of the best values for the money in all of Puerto Rico. If you...

Super easy to book, fun, laid back atmosphere, perfect location and awesome views! The staff was friendly. Front gate locks at night, and each floor can only be accessed by guests staying there. I arrived by myself the first day and I'm glad I packed light because you do have a good amount of stairs to climb! Authentic Puerto Rican...
