We booked this because the old quirkyness of the hotel appealed to us. However, that was immediately gone when they put us in a room WITHOUT A WINDOW. I’m sorry. There was a window on the door to the hallway traffic so you could see and hear your neighbors turn on the lights

Stayed in this gorgeous hotel Feb 19-21, 2019. Our room-221 was a King City View room. The room was exquisite in it’s architectural state, the ceilings were 10-12 foot with beams running across and huge in size. The bed was comfy with all the linens and pillows. We had a

La Terraza is a charming boutique hotel that makes its home in a lovingly-restored colonial building on one of the quietest and most convenient streets in Old San Juan. I appreciated the many thoughtful interior touches—delicious tiles, striking stained glass, and repurposed

I think it would be fine as long as you use the elevator to travel from floor to floor - the stairs are quite narrow and steep. Also, there was no lifeguard at the pool during the time we were there. The location is good, but there were no kid-specific activities at the hotel.

Dear Guests, Our property operates on generators. More than 60% of San Juan city is still without electricity, it is a norm that most businesses operate on generators these days. We have water, lights, ceiling fans, wifi, however signal is weak and spotty. Majority towers got damaged and weather may affect signal. Majority cell phone providers work fine, however, there were several US brands that always had low coverage on the island, for example verizon or sprint, this was pre hurricane, in addition Old San Juan colonial walls are thick and could be impediment. Regarding laundry, we use both electricity and gas lines. All sanity requirements are followed as before, hot was, dry tumble, and cleaning products. Hope this was helpful, do not hesitate to contact us for more questions. Kindly, Marija
