There is not a lot I can say about this hotel that hasn’t already been said. East winds is beautiful. Everything is perfect. Premium drinks including champagne., stunning gardens. Beautiful beach and sea , amazing food. But it is the staff that put the icing on the cake. They are all superb. So kind friendly and efficient. Natasha , the manager is always around and is interested in your opinions and stops for a chat. The concept of the hotel is classy and calm without being staid. This was our second visit and it won’t be our last. Please don’t change. We will return

Third time of staying there and hope to return. Many other guests have been returning far more than us as it’s so addictive. Every guest is treated like a best friend and nothing is too much trouble. I really can’t speak more highly about it. We introduced friends this year and we wouldn’t do that unless confident they would love it too and they did. Great food and wine. Enough sun beds for everyone so no scrambling before breakfast to reserve one. You can learn to sail, paddle board, canoe for free or just swim in the sea or pool. You can also do nothing but relax. The staff are wonderful and always happy to help.

It is hard to criticise something that is perfect. I can’t believe that this trip surpassed last years trip. From the moment we walked onto the resort, it was like coming home. We had a warm welcome from all staff old and new. Our room was perfect and beautifully decorated with flowers from the amazing garden. All products in the bathroom are molten brown and the fridge is well stocked every day. We loved the bird feeders put outside our roundhouse room (superior room) and this attracted the hummingbirds. Sylvanus, the gardener, gave us a wonderful guided tour around the garden which finished with cinnamon tea. The food is amazing with a la carte every evening with a tasting menu with paired wines. All servers are amazing but particularly note to bartenders Sylvia and Wendel and Mickel as well as waiting staff Septima, Jesse and Chanta. The manager, Natasha, is highly visible and will attend to any issues promptly. With so many returners in resort, it was great to greet old friends and meet new ones. I enjoyed yoga lessons and we enjoyed water sports with Joe. My only comment is although gluten free diets are well catered for, it would be good to have gluten free snacks at the bar and in the afternoon tea. Since we knew about the gluten free issue for tea time, we have already implemented a sign system to make it clear when cakes or sandwiches are gluten free for the tea! A review directed at families like ours really.. As a family of 4 with two young teenagers we wondered if we'd made the right decision in not going for one of the busier looking resorts, with multiple pools, restaurants, and such - you'll know the ones I mean if you're researching the Caribbean. Rest assured, East Winds has what you need, and then some. Food, service, gardens, beach, drinks, wildlife, watersports, entertainment, public areas, rooms.. genuinely exceptional throughout. The most expensive family holiday we've ever had, and we came away thinking it was worth every penny. Thank-you Team East Winds. Mitch, Helen, Rufus & Scarlett.

Visited here with my 18 year old daughter in June as a post exam treat and was initially worried that she’d be bored as the hotel is a little more suited to an older clientele. She loved it. We both loved it! So much so that I am returning with my husband and younger daughter in October as I know they’ll equally be impressed. It’s the perfect place to totally unwind and relax. I’m especially looking forward to the Pilates again - she’s the best Pilates teacher I’ve ever had the pleasure to ‘work out’ with. Shame she’s not there daily! We were slightly unlucky to have the threat of a hurricane whilst there. The staff were phenomenal in keeping us well informed and safe. Can’t wait to re-visit!

We just returned from paradise. Hotel is definitely 5 star. Atmosphere like you are royal. Staff is wonderful. Hotel surrounded by wonderful gardens and beaches. Food and cocktails is brilliant. Everyone please visit this paradise in St Lucia.

As a rule, we don’t do all- inclusive hotels, but wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with our teenage children. East winds had been on our list of places to stay ever since we’d spotted it in a holiday brochure on our return from our honeymoon and over the years I’d kept an eye on Trip Advisor reviews to see if it still maintained its reputation. Well, it surpassed all of our dreams! Everyone who works there really is as friendly as the reviews state. The bar and restaurant staff are very attentive serving superb food and drinks and we really enjoyed being able to have our own private beach gazebo to enjoy a celebration lunch on our special day. The garden is beautifully kept - I recommend the guided tour. The water sports guys are fantastic. I loved going out on the sailing boat, my husband and son enjoyed the snorkelling and our children took out the paddle boards and kayaks daily. Simeon helped us to organise a bespoke day out to the south of island. We also enjoyed the ‘good vibes ‘ sunset cruise and the ‘beautiful views’ tour to Pigeon Island. We enjoyed the music every evening (especially the saxophone, piano and Everton on the Friday night, who was also our fantastic driver on our day out). If I had to be critical, I would say the bathroom in the superior room is a little on the small side, but it’s not as if you spend much time in the bathroom and the bedroom was lovely and beautifully decorated on our arrival. It was also delightful watching the hummingbirds darting around outside our room. We rarely return to the same place twice, but I’m sure we will make an exception for East winds, as it really was a week of understated luxury and relaxation.…

Rest assured...you will enjoy your time at East Winds. It was on my bucket list for years and finally was able to visit to celebrate my wife's birthday. All members of staff..from Administrative in planning the trip...Managers checking in with you..Restaurant..Bar...all staff in a sincere manner ensured all met your expectations. The sea water was sublime....all meals just right...and sufficient variety. Just one night for dinner an exhuberant American group let us know they were in celebratory mood....that was beyond the control of the Staff....so yes...go ahead and book...you will not be disappointed.

We have just returned from a 10 night holiday at the wonderful East Winds and what an incredible place to stay! All the staff were amazing and that means all. The gorgeous landscaped gardens were testament to the committed hard work of the gardeners and the restaurant food and friendly staff was just superb. Nothing was too much for any of the amazing team you have there. Cleanliness from beach to rooms and all public areas was perfect. Never have we stayed in a hotel when live entertainment was provided at lunch time and evening meals - and the musicians were all top draw! It is obvious that excellent team work and attention to detail are at the forefront of this memorable little Garden of Eden. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special and memorable-we hope to return very soon and be spoilt by your wonderful East Winds Team.…

We had an amazing stay at East Winds. The grounds are beautiful and we particularly loved watching all of the humming birds. The beach and pool are fantastic, with plenty of loungers and towels. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The staff were all lovely. The food had some hits and misses, and this is the only reason we're giving 4 stars instead of 5. The hits: made to order eggs for breakfast, all of the Caribbean and St Lucian dishes at breakfast and lunch, and all of the homemade ice cream flavors. The misses: a lot of the other dishes at breakfast and lunch were bland and there was a lot of repetition. We would have loved more variety day to day and more island flavor. We also wished there had been more local tropical fruit.
