We want to point out that we didn't reside at the Hummingbird Beach Resort, we were just there for lunch. Our taxi driver recommended that we have lunch here. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time that we went but there was no one at the front desk to attend to us. After

This will be an unusual restaurant review because it's not going to mention food. We tried the Humming bird because the chef had quit at the Still Beach House where we were staying. We arrived about 6:30 and found a well-appointed dining room with a nice view. The waitress took

Just spent a pleasant week at the Hummingbird Beach Resort in Soufriere. We chose Room 9, a smaller room that they described as being "for backpackers," which suited us fine. It was a simple room with a kingsized four-poster bed with a great mattress and mosquito netting. Not

We enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird! We loved seeing many hummingbirds right near our balcony. We had nice breakfasts with hot coffee. Gabbie’s smile and friendliness really made us feel welcome and her “bartender’s special” drinks poolside were amazing!!!

Greetings, how many beds are in the cottage please? Thanks
Hi! Are there actually hummingbirds at the resort?
When we were there, there were tons of hummingbirds at the resort! Mostly by the pool area.

Their are plenty of dive centers in the area but Hummingbird Beach Resort doesn’t actually rent tanks. David the owner I’m sure will hook you up with a mask and fins if you want. The jetty and cliffs to the right side of Hummingbird beach were pretty cool while I was snorkeling. The beach itself didn’t have much life and too much garbage but there is a wild drop off into the blue. Recently a large barge sank off Soufriere pier and I’m sure if you have tanks and the right guide you’ll see some really interesting life and hopefully a new reef taking life over the sunken barge!

I think it might be possible to walk to Sugar Beach from Hummingbird, but I wouldn't recommend it. Not only is it about 5km away, but you would have to navigate around Petit Piton.

"We were in room 2 & it was perfect for us. I would guess that room 3 would be better, but only a guess."
"Better views of the piton are to be had from the upper floors"
"some rooms have no A/C"
"few rooms do have ac although they are lower floor with no view... you decide: view with no ac or no view with ac...."
