My brother and I came to Castlederg to research our mothers history. We had a very comfortable stay at the Derg Arms. Rooms were clean and comfortable and food good. The cost of staying here was modest. Staff were very friendly. Would certainly stay here again.

I've been there for two weeks - lovely place to go. The friendly Walls Family took care of me (thank you Mona, Mr. Walls, Gene, Emma and Olga!!) - I was treated more like a friend than like a guest. Very nice rooms - I had a double room as a single - clean, comfortable and cosy; excellent beds. Excellent...

We booked this hotel for a night away from Dublin. The outward appearance of the property is modest - it looks like just a pub/restaurant. Nice small village in beautiful countryside location. Very quiet - but that suited me. Nice places to eat and many bars along the high street but still remained a peaceful setting. The owners are very accommodating and really friendly and run a nice restaurant.

Had a great time at The Derg Arms pub. Friendly Olga Walls and her hubby and daughters were very friendly and happy to share questions about the district where I was researching family history. Had an Irish breakfast in the morning and filled me up for the day. Good selection of food and juices. Would recommend as a great place...

We stayed 1 night. Made most welcome. Had a few drinks which were quite reasonable. Breakfast was good, had the fry. Room had no big issues, if I had to say something the heat was too high. Would definitely stay again.

With a warm and accommodating welcome from Olga, it was a quite pleasant stay in Castlederg. Great value and great place with something for everyone. Four of us, buddies since kindergarten, enjoyed the quaint pub setting, tea room and dining room. Comfortable rooms Warm regards to Sammy Walls and the boss.

Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean, fresh and inviting surroundings with a lovely atmosphere. We were dining with a 2 year old to whom the staff were particularly attentive! Delicious food and plenty of it! Highly recommend a visit here!!
