If you're looking for a campsite with easy access to the best Snowdonia National Park has to offer, Tyn Cornel Camping fits the bill. On the banks of the river Tryweryn, we cater for everyone - whether you're after level hardstanding for your caravan or motorhome, electric hook-up for your family tent with space for the kids to play, or a peaceful grassy spot with a picnic bench and firepit. Wifi is free and dogs are welcome . If you're after some river action - kayaking, canoeing or whitewater rafting - Tyn Cornel Camping gives you access to white water just a few metres from your pitch and it's a short riverside walk to the National White Water Centre. If you like hill walking, mountain biking, road cycling or rock climbing the fun is close by. The market town of Bala, with its beautiful lake, is only 4 miles away. The North Wales coastline, with its award-winning beaches, is also nearby and you'll find it hard to choose which castle or narrow-gauge railway to visit first........

a quiet place close to the river. Clean park, quiet, which is an advantage by shape (rather long than wide...), all amenities up-to-scratch and very friendly hosts. We'll be back for sure. Also, the disabled facilities were much appreciated. The best part was the water sports

We had 2 nights here in our motorhome, owners on site were very welcoming, we had a good hard standing pitch, great WiFi all over, we were self sufficient but even if not the toilet / shower building was immaculate. There is a small shop and areas for kids to play plus the river

What an amazing campsite. Friendly staff, always happy to help. Nice spacious area for camping with no specific pitch lines which is great. Fire pit was great as it did get cold in the evenings. Right next to the river with white water rafting just up the road. I’d recommend

Most of the pubs in the local town Bala allow dogs into their premises and the meals were quite nice. There is a lovely walk around Bala lake which is Ideal for a dog walk and I let her off so she could run into the water and play in the lake. Also Bala lake do all sorts of water sports where you can hire the equipment. I think they also did lessons for beginners.

Hi Rebecca We don't have a plug socket in the shower/toilet block but we do have a coin operated hairdryer (it takes 20 pence pieces) that you can use. We look forward to welcoming you to the campsite. Best Wishes Stu

yes its very simple, we do have the same postcode as the WWCentre so be aware. From Bala we are before them, so you must look for our LARGE sign on the left, also Brown Signs with tent/caravan emblems showing you to turn left, at our entrance, we are clearly marked. If you reach the WWCentre you will have gone past us!! We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, Jean
