26Nov2016. Currently 5 days into a 2 week holiday. Not the 5star holiday we expected. The promised taxi didn't pick us up from the airport (30$ transfer). On plus side upgraded accommodation is as you would expect & staff are pleasant. Resort has lots of closed facilities. No fitness or tennis instructors. 'Jacks' restaurant closed so far (update: opened 26/11).... More

I am sat in room at buccament bay. We go home tomorrow. What a disappointment. The food on the whole has been terrible, no salad, same undercooked veg everyday, no ice cream, they run out of everything on a daily basis, only 1 restaurant open last night, the food is very basic a bit like school dinners in the 70's.... Arrived back at Buccament bay resort to find the resort had gone from amazing to dreadful, our favourite restaurant was closed (Jacks), also the Italian and the coffee shop was closed and when they did open they had no stock. At one point they ran out of beer and on the second day the bar closed at 5 pm. The... More

If you are expecting a 5 star experience, such as a Sandals resort, do not go here. It would appear they have financial problems, consequently there are shortages, particularly on the food & drink front. Breakfast is woefully short of options that are common in The Caribbean such as an American style breakfast. Eggs are available as omelettes etc, but... More

We loved the beauty, the people and the guests we met while here in June 2016. We had a huge beachfront 2 BR, 2 bath, private pool in private deck house here. Staff extremely accommodating. Caveat: This island is very poor. There are no taxis. You need the resort to pick you up from and deliver you back to the... More

We stayed at the resort from November 12 to November 19. Getting to st Vincent from nyc was a pain because it lasted about 15 hours including the two hour delay, however, as soon as we got out of the airport I felt relived and happy because our driver was waiting for us. The transportation was provided by the hotel.... More

We stayed for one week at the beginning of November (before the floods). We stayed with 3 children. The hotel is not a 5* standard at best it is a 2/3*. As you will see from other reviews you are lucky to get the basics like water. In our experience our children would go up to 12 hours without having... More

Buccament Bay Resort and Spa was probably a fantastic place some time ago, but unfortunately it is on a slippery slope downwards, lovely accommodation, beautiful location, whilst we were there from 07/11/16 to 21/11/16 we experienced food and drink shortage, towels were available on occasion for sun beds, generally the place is run down and some areas are in urgent... My friend and i have just returned from 2 weeks in Buccament Bay Resort and i would like to share some of our experience. Firstly the staff are beyond wonderful! They are friendly, helpful and incredibly hard working. They always smiled and greeted us by name, they even remembered our drink order for next time, a really nice touch that... More
