I was not pleased to see an overflowing garbage can next to the sink to wash your hands. Check in was chaotic but i did manage to get a room with a king bed. Other areas of the hotel were clean. My room was very dated, could use a bit of sprucing up. Was disappoimted the room didnt have a balcony or microwave. The bathroom was small and the ceiling was very low, I could literally touch it with my hands. Tge breakfast to my surprise was very good, not usually imto the usual pancakes and hash browns but the local stuff was fantastic. The pool area was large and clean. I difmd have to pre-book an hour at the pool due to COVID. The store with drinks and snacks was convenient but expensive, highly recommend taking a rideshare to Massy Stores to get what you need. Check out was really quick and they did give me a 2pm late check out. All in all I would return but maybe only for a weekend, not longer.

I am a Marriott Gold member and prefer the Marriott group. The Courtyard POS was closed and will be closed for the rest of the year. The purpose of this trip to Radisson was to check to see if I would be comfortable for my upcoming 8 night vacation in November, sadly I would not stay longer than a weekend at the Radisson.

I stayed at the Radisson hotel a couple weeks ago , this was my second stay at the hotel of which i thoroughly enjoyed the first time around.
However , this second stay was not well received. I checked in late that night and got a room on the 12th floor all the way up, no issue there but the AC unit never worked the entire night i stayed there, checking in late and heading out during the night ,the ac was on but it was never cooled, I got back to the room quite late, hoping that the AC unit will cool during the night , it never worked. The room was very stuffy during the night and hott.
I contacted the front desk in the morning, a technician did visit around 10 am but the AC didnt actually work until around 11am, he stated that my AC master switch was connected to another room and the guest in that room had the access to adjust as they seem fit and apparently the guest saw it fit to switch off my ac or adjust to blow hott air , so unfortunately my stay was very uncomfortable.
surely I was not pleased with this visit. When i complained to the front desk, nothing was said to me regarding this issue

I stayed for one night during the Christmas period 2020. Check in was easy and the staff pleasant. We got to the room and readied for a night out. There was no bathroom tissue and a call was made to the front desk who said it would be sorted out. We returned to the hotel around midnight, still no bathroom tissue. There was no coffee in the room, only tea. We were also unable to get hot water to shower. The next morning, the water was quite the opposite - boiling hot and was unable to get it to cool down. Overall, the room was relatively clean and the beds were comfortable. The lock on the door was partially broken. The grab and go breakfast was delicious and I was happy that they had excellent Covid precautions throughout.

What was supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year went awry very quick.
Made a booking under the guise of an advertisement posted about the Christmas brunch and decided to make it a stay. Due to Covid-19 we understood that precautions would be taken but at the time of booking in house dining was re- opened.
Upon arrival got to find out that the package booked did not include the Christmas brunch and dining was regulated to the downstairs restaurant and it was the room service menu.
To add insult to injury that night had no vegetarian options so no food for the night . After asking to speak to a manager the person at front desk told us no one was there who could help and that he couldn’t even assure that breakfast would have veggie options. Additionally he told me I should put my foot down to ensure I got what I was promised (clearly not from him)
Breakfast buffet / take away option- eggs ran out bread ran out. Juices were not labeled properly god forbid someone had an allergy to grapefruit.
Our entire stay the bins were never emptied no room clean no towels bed made.
Three windows on the floor we stayed are not secure and there were children throughout the hotel stay.
During this time when hotels should be going out their way to promote local stays to generate income Radisson you dropped the ball big time.
Covid has made things globally challenging but a little ingenuity and adapting can go a long way.
Customer Experience Manager / management may be what Radisson is lacking. (Blue Ocean Brain )
Ending on a positive the food service staff that was there were over worked but never let it show, they did all they could with the limited resources they had trying to make everyone’s experience pleasant.

As soon as we opened the door to our room, there was a musty smell. The carpet was damp, so slippers were a must throughout our stay, and there was water condensation on the walls. We tried to adjust the A/C temp to see if that would help, but it didn't.
The room didn't have a fridge, so we had to keep going to the ice machine to get ice to keep food stuff and drinks cool.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so we asked for champagne glasses to be brought up to our room (we brought our own champagne). But these didn't come until more than an hour later (it was afternoon time).

Apart from that, I think the hotel has potential.
We did see signs up saying that they are working on upgrading rooms.
The front desk staff were friendly as well as restaurant workers.
The pool was nice: cool in the day and warmer at night.
Hospitality workers came to tidy up the rooms every day (there wasn't a "Do not disturb" sign available to be placed on the door, so they came whether we wanted them to or not lol). We didn't have a problem with this, though.
We were on floor 9, so there were nice views of the city, and partial views of the sea.

As I said before, maybe we were just unlucky to get this room. We may think of returning after their room renovations are completed.

(P.s. We're now back home, and all our clothes from our suitcases smells musty like the room 😩)

Just arrived off a ship and into this place for a night with no quarantine requirements, whole place is being run as a quarantine centre. You are basically confined to room regardless, no facilities are operating, room service only, no restaurant facilities, no bar, not allowed outside by pool area (I appreciate the requirement for no pool use under the circumstances) and unable to even enjoy some sunshine outside. The meal choice is abysmal considering the amount charged to the company and after a pretty gruelling 7 weeks working offshore very much p##### off with the whole situation.

This hotel should be visited by the Radison Management to see what kind of a place this is…

Checking in was the only good process.

The room was of a very poor standard ( see photos)

The only occasion ever in all my years of travelling the lady at the front desk asked for a photo copy of my credit card and the CV number. I said absolutely no way and she was quite surprised!!!!!

I have stayed in Radison hotels all over the world and this has to be the worst I have ever this includes the food, rooms and front desk staff. At no time we’re you made to feel welcome.

Also this is popular hotel with locals at the weekend so it can be very noisy!

Best avoided and chose either Marriott or Hyatt Regency.

I will start with the only minor negative for me, the lobby area and room could be only slightly cleaner, but otherwise the service, food (price and quality), beach accessibility, room amenities and view were wonderful for the price. While Hilton is nearby and looks slightly better on the outside, it is more expensive. If you are on a budget and looking for a beachfront property, this is perfect. Also, the concierge went above and beyond for us, especially my son in every way possible. I highly recommend them, and will return in future. The gym was very small, but I do not work out on vacations anyway lol.
