Our extended family, including teenagers and grandparents in their 80s, occupied two full suites with two bedrooms per suite. The ambience of this gem of a hotel was perfect for our vacation and the attention from the friendly staff was exceptional. As an example, when we asked for food beyond the dinner menu, a new menu was prepared which we...

I have stayed at this hotel on three separate occassions, the last visit being in December 2006. Each visit has been a more than pleasant experience. The staff and the manager of the hotel were more than accommodating with all requirements and requests made. The bedrooms are spacious and cleaned regularly, I have never had any problems at this hotel...

My wife and I began our business trip staying at a large “name” hotel. Unfortunately, we were non-smokers stuck in a smoking room for four days. On day five, we decided to try our luck and to move to another accommodation. We had heard a few people mention the Chancellor, and we are quite thankful they did. The remainder of...

I stayed in The Cancellor for three days before going to another place. Location is fantastic, quite neighborhood, easy access to the bothanical garden and the Savannah. However, service is terribly bad ( apathic ) , rooms are big, but uncomfortable ( who said that bigness is good? ). Old decoration like in a motel and the rooms smell. Trinidad...

My wife and I made reservations at the Chancellor Hotel for May 25 - May 30, 2006. The purpose of the trip was to attend a wedding in Trinidad. When we arrived, we were shocked. There was no hot water in our room or in the room of another wedding guest who traveled from the U.S. with us. There were...

I stayed for the carnival period 2k6 and was not totally happy with the service i got after paying nearly 2000US for an executive suite and being fool by the lovely looking rooms on their website and when i arrived it was nothing but a rundown room with little or nothing. I honestly will never stay there again

Staff excellent. very pleasant and helpful. the hotel: good marketing ploy. the website is a cut above the actual place. the room(s) were very very basic. the breakfast was less than basic. there was no choice. the prices of the food and drinks are comparible with the Hilton and Marriot and thus for a little extra expense it is worth...

Great place and great people make any traveling experience enjoyable ... and this is how I could summarize my few days/nights stay at the Chancellor Hotel ... the manager, people at the front desk and staff in the restaurant/bar are not only pleasant, helpful and friendly but also full of the information, not found in the tourist guides, on 'what...

Rooms- Don't let the room categories fool you. There are really no extra amenities in any of the "higher" room categories. We were in an "Executive" room. Room was clean and but "clinical" looking. Walls can use some color. Very spacious. Cable T.V with enough programing. In room high speed internet worked well, was able to get all my business...
