We've stayed at the Ocean Club resorts multiple times. We like Ocean Club West because we can walk to so many places, including favorite restaurants. We've stayed at other, more expensive resorts, but feel that for the location and the quality of the rooms, Ocean Club gives us the best quality per $$. Based on our suites the last two visits, the rooms have been upgraded over the years. For our last 2 stays we've had really lovely accommodations with brand new kitchens and baths. The washer/dryer are handy. We found Bianca at the front desk to be especially helpful with ideas for restaurants and she was just generally very welcoming and fun to chat with. We treasure this last stay in early March. We squeaked in this trip in right before the world shut down. :-(

I am very disappointed in our experience with Ocean Club West. My husband and I were looking forward to celebrating our ten year anniversary there in a week but unfortunately have to cancel due to the Coronavirus. We have two toddlers and elderly parents and cannot leave them. Ocean Club West is charging a cancellation fee of 50% of our entire stay! They offered to apply it towards another trip this year. This is unacceptable - we have no idea how long the Coronavirus pandemic will persist. We can't just hop on a plane now or later this year as we'll need to coordinate care for our children. I am shocked they are making us pay for half of a trip we aren't able to take due to a global pandemic.

Dear TFigard, We are allowing a refund for your travel dates. As I mentioned in the email the request and processing has to go through the booking company. We had three requirements. We needed to have a great beach, chairs / umbrella on the beach, and someone to bring us drinks / lunch on the beach (I'm not paying all this money to be waiting at the bar). OCW met all three requirements. You had to get to the beach between 7-8am to get a front row spot but if you came later, there was still plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Calvin the beach waiter did a great job taking care of us. Had he not been there, this would have been a lower review. Although, he was off one day and there was no replacement which was a bummer. As ad added bonus, you get kitchenettes in your room and there are a few very nice propane grills you can use to grill the dinner you picked up from the grocery store a few blocks away. This was real nice because the restaurants within walking distance are okay, but nothing to write home about. The onsite restaurant at OCW does a good job but the way to do it is to order that cheeseburger in paradise right to your chair during the day, stare at that blue water, and look forward to grilling something tasty once the sun goes down!…

smaller hotel is perfect. No long lines, no elevators, no waiting for a table, just about perfect. May have to wait for the tennis court, but that is about it. Friendly and helpful staff are willing to stop and help/give assistance. The beach bar is new this year and a real advantage to the thirsty. Sailboat, paddle board, kayak all come inclusive. The restaurant has an interesting and varied menu. Pool is exceptionally friendly to children, but enough lounges and space for adults also. The beach is well stocked with chairs and umbrellas. First come with towels available starting at 8:00 in the morning. We will be back!

We just got back last night from a 6 night stay in one of the waterfront apartments in the A building-with views of the pool, bar, restaurant, and beach/oceanfront, depending on what way you look. It was truly a magical week, and we enjoyed all of the natural beauty of Turks and Caicos, but the staff is truly one of the most valuable resources here. We were there with my two sons, ages 2 and 4, and they both felt so special and loved by the staff at Ocean Club West. They (and I, for that matter), had many conversations with the young men at the stand near the beach. Bradly, Ernest, and JP were so warm and helpful, and my kids were always very excited to go “buy towels” from them and have a fist bump and a chat. Kevin, from water play, has a special place in our heart. We had several long talks, and he was always so friendly and candid, not to mention being helpful and encouraging about use of the water vessels. The maintenance and cleaning staff were also very kind and lovely, with almost everyone we saw pausing in their work for a moment to connect with the kids, ask their names (and then almost always remember it the next time we saw them), answer the many (so many) questions my kids had for them. I know that everyone was just doing their jobs, but I felt very emotional leaving, because they had been so welcoming and kind- it was almost like leaving friends. I know that my boys feel that way (they’re still talking about when we’ll go back and see everyone again). So I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, and specifically those gentlemen who really made our trip very special. I hope that there is a way for management to pass these words along, and I hope that you know how lucky you are to have such great young people in your employment.…

Hi,
Ocean Club West does not. The Junior and One Bedroom have a king bed and will either have a pull-out sofa or a rollaway will be provided.
Ocean Club offers the Studio Deluxe with two double beds.

Yes, there is a special menu at the Swingerz bar from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The new Swingerz bar is directly on the sands of Grace Bay and has swings for seats, and fun cocktails!
