Perfect bunkhouse. Never cold like some others. Beautiful location, easy to find, fantastic catering quality kitchen, nice touch with a large smart tv we were able to play content straight off of our phones from the days exploits onto, made for great evening entertainment.

Our group of 17 enjoyed a great New Year weekend at the Bunkhouse. Well situated for walking up the mountains and to visit the waterfalls. The Bunkhouse was lovely and warm, comfortable, and a good size for our group.

What a great bunkhouse, could not fault anything about our stay. Clean, tidy with everything you could imagine. We stayed there for my 30th Birthday, group of girly friends all getting together and we all loved it. Fab hosts, can't wait to return :) thanks Netty and Molly.

The bunkhouse was just the perfect place for our hen weekend. We were a group of 12 girls, the communal space was perfect for our night in on the Friday, we weren't far from our Gorge Scrambling activity on the Saturday and were able to organise a reasonably priced minibus into Cardiff on the Saturday night. It was so clean and cosy and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and we even got to see a lamb being born! I'd love to come back here again and would recommend to friends and family.

We had a 40th birthday weekend at the bunkhouse - 9 adults and 12 children. Fantastic rooms, comfortable beds, good facilities, professional kitchen, easy walks up the mountain - what more could you want! Molly was wonderfully helpful - they even provided us with firewood and firepit for an evening campfire. Highly recommended.

Me and my friends chose to stay here during out trip to Bikepark Wales. The bedrooms were great for our group and the cooking facilities were first class. The campfire was also really nice as was the outdoor room which was great for relaxing in. We also loved the DVD player and projector system which was great for watching films whilst relaxing on the sofas and the views are simply amazing. If we visit he Bikepark again we will certainly be staying at the Bunkhouse.

Simply a great place to stay, Modern, Clean, welcoming staff and a perfect location to access the Brecon Beacons.

Accomodation is a very high standard, much more like a hotel than a bunkbarn. Immaculately clean and every facility that you need.

We will certainly be making a return visit.

This is a gem. A great place to experience the beautiful countryside whilst enjoying the comforts of a high spec bunkhouse. The place is kept spotless and is warm and spacious. The owner Molly is very helpful and was always at hand to answer any questions. She knows the area well and suggested lots of things for us to do. Other benefits include the fact that it is on a working farm within the beacons so you get the real country experience. If you do not want to use the amazing kitchen facilities you have the added bonus of a hotel and spa at the end of the drive, meaning no one has to worry about being the designated driver. A gem of a place where you can park up and enjoy your stay.

I travelled alone and was investigating for a house move - but left feeling Id had a holiday. I stayed three nights and I had a wonderful time here. It was immaculately clean. Towels were supplied and hot water plentiful. The T4 bus stops right outside, but the surrounding area is beautiful for walks. The bed was comfy and because I was alone and low season Molly gave me a small double room. The kitchen was clean and well equipped and there was a large sitting area with a hugh projector screen tv. It was a lovely place to chill in the evening, hearing the sheep bleeting occasionally on the opposite hill. There was a sort of pub room with wood burner and dart board. I never used it but if you had gone with some friends it would have been another space to get away from it all.

As an area of natural beauty I snuck out at night to see the stars with so little light pollution. Fantastic - Totally clear sky and full moon was just lucky but constellations I cant see at home were much more visible - it was also pretty cool to hear the owl hoot.

It was excellent value for money with facilities which were exceptional in beautiful surroundings. But most of all I felt welcomed and safe. Ill be recommending the bunkhouse to friends!

I took a 25 man group of old friends for a fantastic weekend at the Coed Owen Bunkhouse. The welcome was warm, and Molly was always available to answer any questions. The bunkhouse itself was perfect for large groups, with everyone warm and comfortable, with plenty of room to cook big dinners.

On Saturday we walked up Pen Y Fan, which you can access from the farm without touching any roads! It really is a lopvely, w2ell run place, and we'll be back.
