A Sunday afternoon ride around the island to find a good place for a swim, we stopped for a while at Cinnamon Bay. The beach is a short walk from parking area. Oh, the water was so clear and nice, you just pick up your legs and float. You don't even have to move your arms. My wif

I've been quite anxious to get back to Cinnamon for quite some time now, and have been checking regularly for updates on the status of the park. When will the cabins be back open? I've stayed in cottages 8, 9 and 10 (9 is my favorite!) and I love the peacefulness of the campgroun

We spent several days here and had so much fun! The sand is soft, the view is divine, and the park well kept. They were still in recovery mode from the hurricane that went through the previous fall, but it did not hamper our visit. One of our favorite beaches!

We go to STJ to get away and enjoy peace and quiet. Cinnamon, because they rent various water toys, tends to draw a large crowd. We believe a member of our party had an iPad stolen at Cinnamon in 2015. If you like crowds, Cinnamon is gorgeous - if you want quiet - go to Maho or F

The best part about the campground is the location. It is near (not on) a spectacular beach. Other than that, there's a lot that is both lacking and in some cases misleading.

While I'm pleased for those who had a "30 step" walk to the beach, we did not. In fact, most of the ec

Hi! I am looking to bring my own tent and use a bare site to camp. Do I need to reserve prior to going or can I just show up? If I need to reserve how do I go about doing that? Thanks!!
Is it open yet?

Does anyone know the difference between the king or twin tents and the family tents? I could not see a difference in the pictures/write up to distinguish what made a family tent, a family tent. Thanks!
The King Eco Tents come with a King bed. The Family Eco Tents come with a King bed and bunk bed.

Can someone describe the popup platform tents listed on the Cinnamon Bay website? Are they the platform tents that predate the eco-tents? Or are they traditional tents pitched up on the old platforms? Thank you!
The popup tents seem to be about 60% the size of the eco-tent both in square footage and height. More like a traditional camping tent. They are new. All of the popup tents are in one small area with no privacy between tents. I would concur that the eco-tents have a better location and are way nicer. All in all, they probably are fine if they suit your needs better than the other options.

"Request site near beach."
"Cabin 10 has water view, but is farthest from the bathroom."
"Eco-tents look cleanand new but could be "noisey" from junglr sounds at night. Bungalows are directly next to the water."
"This is luxury tent camping. Make sure you get the new ones scattered around in the jungle."
"Eco tents are worth the splurge."
