I have just come from the Ocean reef yacht club and resort. Please note that this is not a fancy yacht club but a small resort offering moorings for boats as a way of making money to help the time share resort. However they do have plenty of slips for boats coming over just for a few days besides those that come on a yearly basis and stay on their boat for longer. There are facilities which boaters can make use of as much as the land bound guests!! Price for slip will vary depending on the season so best check it out with the resort itself by phone or email and get a price before going there to secure the mooring. As mentioned this is primarily a small timeshare resort and at times lacking in refurbishments which are tacky and old for example due to hurricane the nice hut which offered authentic food by the quite pool has not been rebuild but left unused! The current restaurant on site is ok but you get a variety from downtown which is a taxi ride away same for going to a descent beach. You are also able to hire a car from the resort. So best to let you know these things. The main thing is that Getting in and out for the day with the 30 foot boat is no problem. So hope you have a pleasant trip wherever you decide to stay in the Bahamas and hope you liked this reply
