WildQuest has been respectfully connecting with dolphins in the wild since 1995. We offer week-long retreats to swim with wild dolphins in The Bahamas. The WildQuest Retreat Center is situated in a friendly little fishing village, with a bayside terrace and a mooring for our catamaran DolphinQuest. Rooms are on the water and accommodations are light, airy and spacious with private bath and A/C. Food is fresh, healthy and organic where possible, including vegetarian, chicken or fish dishes. Our excellent chef caters to most dietary needs including vegan and gluten free. Each day on our week long retreats, we are scheduled to go out on our 41-foot catamaran DolphinQuest for some snorkeling at coral reefs, visiting the famous Atlantis Stone Road and of course meeting up with playful dolphins. Snorkeling and free diving lessons are included and all levels of aquatic skills are welcome. WildQuest provides a supportive and safe environment, both on the boat and on land for the optimum Human-Dolphin Connection. Other activities on offer are the daily yoga and meditation classes.

WildQuest is that Magical place that thinks of your every need( Those that you really need) I can't say enough about the WildQuest family and their dedication to safety, fun, awesome food, clean accomodations, thorough instructions and did I mention their relationships with the Dolphins that live around Bimini!!!? Such love and mutual respect. My week there was such a gift. I went alone and made friends from all over the world.
I'm already planning my next trip back!!! I miss our dancing parties heading back after a wonderful day of swimming with the dolphins and rays and the yummy snacks on board. Those relaxing naps on the bow of the boat.... I could go on and on. And the kind people of Bimimi. They are so welcoming. Thank You. Lisa Hall

It is a life changing experience to have a gentle wild dolphin swim up to you and look you in the eyes. Even though I've stayed at WildQuest twice now, I still can't believe how accessible and affordable it is to have the experience of being with so many wild dolphins in the ocean. I believe the dolphins around this island are so sweet and friendly because WildQuest is deeply respectful with them, letting everything unfold on the dolphins terms, no feeding or chasing them. Everything about our trip was outstanding. From the beautiful and spacious sailing catamaran we went out on every day, to the fun and supportive staff who made sure everyone was safe and so well taken care of, to the delicious, healthy dinners cooked for us on site. I'm gluten free and my friend is a vegan and WildQuest did an amazing job of making sure our food was delicious and fresh. I especially enjoyed Niketa's homemade bread and innovative, delicious desserts made without refined sugars. We saw sea turtles and spotted eagle rays when we were out snorkeling and enjoyed frequent jaunts to the deserted little beach just a 3 minute walk away (the retreat center is directly on the water, but on the Bay side of the island). Everything at the retreat center was super clean and the little garden areas with flowers and tropical plants are gorgeous. If you are yearning for a heart-expanding adventure of a lifetime this is your place!

My wife and I recently gathered a group to join us for our 2nd visit to WildQuest and the dolphin journey each day. It's 5 days of being on the water (you can choose to stay back on land too) in the DolphinQuest catamaran, treated to whatever the weather, the water, and the wild creatures bring us each day. I was impressed yet again by the collective highly skilled teamwork of the WQ staff, supporting everyone in positive ways, whatever any challenge might show up. The result was the full group of us returning each day appearing to me relaxed and fulfilled by the warm air, beautiful water, the brilliant guidance of the staff, the wild playful dolphins, and all the other underwater beauties we got to swim with. WildQuest is so well organized I always felt safe and they are fun as well. They have great skills at finding whatever we're looking for that day, plus helped us improve our snorkeling and diving skills. Ok, then there's the food! Breakfasts are plentiful and varied, we pack a healthy simple lunch for the boat each day, and then return to a gourmet dinner prepared by the chef - I couldn't ask for better food. Rooms are as they say, airy and spacious, if simple. While this is not a 5-star hotel, everything is super well taken care of and clean. Just remember you're staying at the edge of a harbor and docking area on the tiny island of Bimini, with sea birds and fish right out your door - this is not an upscale resort hotel. You will be close to the wild resource of nature.

This was literally the most amazing experience of my life. The people here are really doing it right. All of our interactions with the dolphins were respectful and peaceful. We got plenty of instructions and reminders on how to interact with them so that they would want to stay. We often hung with a group, slowly moving the boat around, until the director/captain/crew felt the dolphins were definitely interested in interaction . And they really were. The dolphins stuck around, day after day, accepting and welcoming us into their world Crew members helped me learn to freedive in a way the dolphins would respond well to and that allowed me to have amazing interactions with them. I also loved that they modified the type of swimming etc. we did to the abilities of the group on the boat. No one was EVER left out due to a lack of swimming ability or comfort in the water.

The staff was super helpful, kind, friendly and giving. The food was healthy, delicious and abundant. You really felt safe to totally relax and be yourself. They also have the most incredible massage therapist you can get sessions with . Accomodations were perfect for a trip like this . You really arent going to spend much time in there unless you are sleeping or showering. Its comfortable with everything you need and nothing you dont. It really creates a nice haven from noise, electronics, distraction etc so you can focus on being fully present. There is a real atmosphere of peace, gratitude ,openness and love

I would recommend WildQuest to anyone. Whatever you are trying to find- amazing wild animals, adventure, tranquility, even if you are trying to find yourself, you can find it at WildQuest.

We spent about 8 hours a day for five days out on the ocean snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. The staff was wonderful and supportive and knowledgeable. We were taken care of with two excellent meals, breakfast and dinner, packed our own tasty lunches and were served a fruit and sweets snack in the afternoon on the boat. The accommodations were clean and simple and beautifully located right at the water. Lovely, restful and inspiring times.

This was on my bucket list… finally fulfilled and such a joy. How do I begin to describe…

This journey was filled with wonder, quiet bubbly excitement, joy, a reverence for this watery life and what I experienced, playfulness, relaxation, amazing meals, beautiful accommodation and the most wonderful, caring crew one could wish for.

I was more than impressed. It was so well organised, it was seamless. As I had experience working in the Great Barrier Reef tourism industry, I knew exactly how much went into each detail, how much care was taken with each meal, the vessel, our rooms, the friendliness and caring of each staff member. And... total respect for our dolphin friends and marine life.

It is exquisite. A deep and life-changing adventure not to be missed. I am going back… it is back on my bucket list.

WildQuest is a magical place. First and foremost, the crew are comprised of some of the most wonderful, skilled, loving people. They are an absolute joy to spend the week with. Our experience was incredible, the trust that the WQ crew has built with the wild dolphins is obvious from the first day on the water. Our interactions with the dolphins were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, it was pure bliss- full of respect, love and wonder. The facility and equipment are all beautifully maintained, its clear that a lot of care goes into creating amazing an experience for visitors and the food is incredible! I highly recommend WQ to anyone looking for a magical experience.

There is nothing so magical as floating in the open ocean and having a wild dolphin swim right up and look you in the eyes, just an arms length away. So incredible. I visited WildQuest in June for the fourth time and it just gets better and better. We swam with dolphins every day. Sometimes a sweet group of five, and sometimes larger pods of 13 - 20 dolphins. The crew is so respectful of the dolphins and really helps to make sure that everyone is safe and comfortable in the water. Some folks were expert snorkelers and free divers, and some folks were not such good swimmers so they got a lot of help. Everyone is welcome! This year the food cooked for us each day by on-site chef, Niketa, was incredible. All homemade from scratch with lots of delicious options for vegans, vegetarian and gluten free folks. I can't wait to go back again next year!

As a would be facilitator for a week long retreat with Wild Quest, 1 (we) experienced the most inconsiderate, unethical treatment. When COVID began affecting travel, and the Bahamas closed, WildQuest refused to cancel our trip. The entire world was at standstill, but as canceling meant they would have to reimburse our group, they did everything possible to keep the majority of our groups money and offered no reasonable options in the context of a global pandemic. This was one of many retreats we had scheduled that needed to be cancelled or rescheduled, and WildQuest was the only group that put themselves and their finances before their customers. They ended up with over $20,000 of our groups money; once they had managed to keep the majority of the money they cancelled our trip less than 12 hours before we were to board flights. WildQuest does not represent dolphin consciousness; they represent greed.

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry your week with us was unable to take place this year and that you feel this way. We really did our best to accommodate your week, against a backdrop of the most challenging year on record for all of us with Covid and so many unknowns. Cancellation was only made when it was clear the week was no longer viable, in this instance due to a number of factors including several severe weather systems approaching and all but one client cancelling at the last minute. The client that did not cancel was fully refunded. We also did offer options for rescheduling both in 2020 and 2021, as offered to all our customers this year. We fully acknowledge there have been huge disappointments, for all of us, and we did our best to be fair to everyone in responding to all the different travel scenarios and circumstances people were dealing with. We also want to clarify that some of the points made in your feedback are factually incorrect and we’d be open to talking this through with you. If you’re interested to connect, do not hesitate to contact us.

I just came back last week from two weeks being on Bimini and swimming with wild and free dolphins who decided 9 of 10 days to stay with us and let us swim with them.

It was my 5th time and 9 the week there and I will, for sure, be back as soon as I can afford it.

The crew is amazing, taking care of each of the guests and trying everything that everybody feels comfortable.

The food (thanks again Niketa!!!!) is outstanding and all diets are taking care of.

I feel whole and supported and am grateful having been there.

Will sure be back and can recommend this to everybody who wants to experience this amazing encounter with wild dolphins and great people.
