Well done guys, we bigged your roast beef up to the family and yet again you didn't disappoint! Lovely rare beef, amazing vegetables and proper crispy roast spuds, all topped off by Granny Beryls fab puds. Keep up the high standards( I'm sure you will).

We had a wonderful three night break at Hunters Moon. The owners made us feel very much at home and could not have made our stay more enjoyable. The food is amazing, all freshly cooked and seasonal with veg sourced from nearby organic farm. There are fantastic vegetarian options on the menu and as we were staying for three nights... More

We were staying at the pub owners cottage, just a short walk away over a long weekend - so the pub was ideally located! The owners, staff and regulars are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. There is free wifi and nice outdoor areas (also very dog friendly!). We ate on a Saturday for lunch and also had... More

I wanted to do an overnight cycle ride, a bit of me time without being badgered, so I did some searching for pubs, with rooms, near the Black Mountains and found the Hunters Moon which looked just the job. After catching the train to Hereford, National Cycle Route 46 will take you most of the way to this cosy little... More

We chanced upon hunters moon while on our honeymoon and were so glad we did... Infact we spent our first and last nights here, lovely friendly atmosphere from the locals and the family who run the pub. Very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food as we were expecting standard pub grub and this is certainly a cut above. Great... More

What a lovely place to stay! Several of the guide books don't put the end of your walking day in this little village...... but it's truly worth planning your walk around stopping here! I met people who said they wished they had, and I'm really glad I did! You'll get the warmest welcome here from one of the several generations... More

We stayed over night to celebrate my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary. We was made so welcome on our arrival. Rooms where exceptional and food outstanding. My husband had a disability and was able to access all facilities. The evening staff was very attentive and the breakfast we woke up to was first class.

Was staying in a b&b nearby and decided to try the place out. Tiny roads were a bit hard to negotiate buy food is great once you arrive. I had the spring rolls for starter which were perfect! Chicken and mushroom pie next which was nice but not much mushroom. Wasn't really a pie more a casserole with a puff... More
