The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is down to some inconsistency in quality. I've been here a few times, the first blowing my expectations out of the water for dinner and an overnight stay. But the second and third visits weren't quite as good but nonetheless very nice. The wife is a member at Celtic Manor so gets...

We had a fantastic meal here last night. We started the meal with a glass of Imperial Kiss which was beautifully presented and tasty! I had the octopus for starter and oh my word, it was just beautiful. Would highly recommend. Then I had the venison which was cooked to perfection and finally I had the chocolate delice to finish....

We were lucky enough to have a voucher given to us for a three course meal for two and we decided to use the voucher at the Newbridge on Usk as neither of us had been here before. We were not disappointed in any way. The service from start to finish was outstanding. We were made to feel so special....

I have had the good fortune to stay in a number of great hotels recently and this was one of the very best. My room was beautiful, well-appointed and incredibly comfortable. The four-poster bed was a bonus! The setting was lovely. The service was outstanding, friendly, informative and unassuming . The food was wonderful and the set menus were well-priced...

We stayed at the Newbridge on Usk for two nights taking the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Option on the first night. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. It was a rainy night and restaurant wasn't busy. We were seated upstairs and my only complaint was that it would have been better to distribute the three sets of diners around the...

This is much more a restaurant than a hotel - and as a restaurant it's fantastic. We stayed at the Celtic Manor and got the free shuttle bus - it's a long way but worth the ride, which is very scenic. And after a weekend at the full-on Celtic Manor resort it's a great way to escape to somewhere quieter...

Lovely remote settling, nice and relaxing atmosphere. After a previous bad dining experience within 2010 club. We were asked by management if we would like to try another restraunt owned by the celtic manor. We thought the Michelin star restraunt was worth a second chance. It was a tasty meal with lots of flavour and the most incredible lemon desert!

I went here as it's owned by The Celtic Manor which is a 5 star hotel however this is definitely nothing like that. The food was overpriced & poor. The service was very poor. We had to wait about 40 mins between the starter & main course & the dirty plates were cleared away just before main meals were served...

We had an afternoon tea gift voucher including prosecco and sandwiches. Upon booking I was told they no longer do afternoon tea on a Saturday but agreed to honour our voucher. The setting is beautiful, very scenic. The price is quite high for what you get... choice of 5 teas. 4 finger sandwiches each cakes and scones. I have a...
