My husband and I stayed in a cottage for two at Trenewydd and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The cottage was extremely clean and with everything we could need. The hot tub was a wonderful addition in the private, secluded garden. The communal swimming pool is a really good size and very clean. The management of the social distancing, hygiene etc in the current coronavirus was excellent and we felt very safe throughout our stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they have made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. There was a very useful welcome pack when we arrived, thank you for the lovely bara brith, milk, tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate. We would certainly recommend staying here and will be booking again in the future.

We understand that the owners, Ginnie and Andrew Corbett only took over the business in April 2020 and have obviously made huge improvements to the place.

Certainly, the whole site was immaculate and the large heated swimming pool was very impressive. We stayed in Cosy Cottage, which was surprisingly large and had a nicely planted private garden, with our own hot tub. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped with a four-poster bed with lovely drapes. Very romantic.

The owners were very friendly and gave us lots of information before we arrived, and they were on hand throughout our stay which was really helpful. You should take note of the owners’ information to bring extra towels especially if you want to go swimming. A nice touch was the personalised sign as we arrived, and left, so we felt very welcome.

We didn't have children with us, but could see that the swimming pool, FootGolf and playing areas would be fantastic for a family. There's loads of space for running around, and we saw the owners with children from other families feeding the shetland ponies and collecting eggs. We'll definitely be back!

Upon arrival we were welcomed with our names on the LED display (nice to have your name in lights!) Ginnie and Andrew are very friendly and helpful. Once in the cottage we had another surprise of an anniversary card and a bottle of Prosecco - thank you very much. The cottage is a great size and has everything you need. The hot tub and private garden are perfect. Ginnie recommended some nice places to eat and our favourite was The Ferry Inn 5 mins away in the car. This is a great location for exploring the surrounding areas and we were provided with plenty of information of places to visit. We stayed for 3 nights and need to go back to see the areas we couldn't fit in. Thanks again we will definitely be back - Andrea and Pete

I decided to book this break over my 50th Birthday, just to have some quiet time to myself.

I booked Cosy Cottage with its hot tub and it was perfect. The cottage was spotless, tastefully decorated and had everything you could possibly want for a self catering break, including a dish washer and washer/drier. The one bedroom was very spacious and had a very large double bed, bedroom furniture, a small sofa and flat screen tv. This cottage was ideal for me because apart from 2 small steps up to the bathroom, everything was ground level.

The lounge had a comfy 2 seater sofa & footstool, single high backed chair, dining table & 2 chairs. The smart TV has free view and Netflix and there’s also a DVD player too.

The site itself was very well maintained and has a lovely pool and sun lounge area. I wasn’t brave enough to take a dip in the pool this time, but I can highly recommend the hot tub!

Ginnie and Andrew are exceptional hosts and made my stay really special. I will most definitely be revisiting Trenewydd Farm again at a later date.

We have just returned from a really lovely and relaxing holiday at Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages. My children and I stayed in Ash Cottage which was perfect for us. It was very clean, and comfortable, Thank you for leaving milk in the fridge and lovely Barabrith. The cottage was very clean, including all the new bedding and there were cleaning materials and plenty of bin bags etc which was great in the current COVID situation! The new car park makes things a lot easier. The heated swimming pool is very well maintained and clean, we all enjoyed using it each day. Trenewydd located in a stunning part of Wales, with so many lovely beaches to explore. St Dogmaels and Cardigan are very nearby and easily accessible. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you so much, we loved it and will definitely be back soon.

Just back from a lovely weeks holiday here with friends. The new owners took over at the beginning of the year so we were the first holidaymakers since lockdown. We stayed in Cozy Cottage which was lovely and clean. Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages are situated in a nice quiet area only a 15 minute or so drive from Cardigan. There is a swimming pool which was nice and clean, me and hubby didn’t venture in but the daughters of the other couple we were holidaying with did and they enjoyed it. We had a hot tub outside our cottage which was great and very welcoming after a lovely walk around the coastal path in New Quay where we spent a great day Dolphin spotting and a lovely fish and chips supper overlooking the beach. There is a small gym comprising of a treadmill, elliptical trainer and bike. The surrounding fields and gardens are well kept with shrubs and flowers. The owners are a lovely couple who were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend these cottages and would definitely return for another holiday.

I stayed at this accommodation last year with family, celebrating a relatives 50th birthday and it was amazing!! we stayed in June and the weather was incredible, having the pool heated was perfect to keep the children entertained all day (and some adults!) It felt as if we were abroad. The hot tubs were a bonus! as I was only able to stay for one night, I felt slightly cheated and knew we had to return.
This year was my mum's 60th, perfect opportunity, so once again we hired out the whole farm! Ginnie was incredible to deal with during the booking process, she was so accommodating, organised, informative and helpful, it felt that nothing was too much to ask for! Considering there were 21 of us checking in at all different times (even up until 8.30pm) everything ran so smoothly. Every cottage was welcomed with a lovely welcome basket, including bara brith, tea bags, tea towels, coffee, dish washer tablets and laundry detergent. Anything else needed is for sale at the farm house. I couldn't believe all the improvements on the farm in only a year! although the weather wasn't as good in may this year it still didn't stop our fun, oak cottage is large enough to hold everyone and the hot tubs (with a new added one) are brilliant to warm up in after a cold jump in the pool! The grounds of this farm are incredible with plenty to do, including collecting fresh eggs and petting the rabbits! the scalextric shed is incredible, but make sure you prearrange a time with the owners in advance not to miss out on the fun. overall what another fantastic experience, all cottages are spotlessly clean, cosy, modern and the beds are fantastic! even the dogs had an amazing time. We will for sure be seeing you again soon!

We stayed for a long weekend in July 2020 in Chestnut Cottage and had a really lovey time. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
Our boys had a couple of swims in the pool, it was a bit chilly but they wore their wetsuits and didn’t seem bothered by the cold. It’s a really good sized pool.
The new owners are really friendly and helpful. I mentioned to Ginnie that our eldest son had ASD and she went out of her way to email my son a little personalised information booklet with photos of their family, animals and cottages which we really appreciated.
I need to mention also that the WiFi was brilliant. My husband runs his own business so it was handy for us to be able to reply to emails.
And finally, this area of Wales is stunning. We have stayed in several parts of Wales but this area was our favourite. The beaches are beautiful, lovely pubs, everything reasonably priced at the beaches such as ice creams/souvenirs etc.
We would definitely recommend staying at Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages.

We have just got back from here and what an amazing time we had. We had Ash, Oak and Cherry cottages, which were lovely and clean , Cherry has just been done out, which was gorgeous and Oak has a hot tub.
Andrew and Ginnie , the owners are so lovely and helpful , we had a 3 1/2 year old with us and although they were really busy all weekend Andrew took the time to show him the rabbits, guininea pig and chickens which he absolutely loved, nothing was too much trouble for them . They have amazing plans for the farm .
Went to The ferry Inn for lunch on Sunday , food was beautiful and service great ,
with stunning views over the estuary, only about an 8 min drive from the farm .
Absolutely loved our stay here and can’t wait to go back , would highly recommend this lovely place and wish Andrew and Ginnie all the best with all their plans.

What a lovely place to stay! Oak cottage was perfect for us with 4 adults and 5 children very spacious the bedrooms were cosy and comfortable and we loved the large dining table so we could all eat together. We were disappointed that the pool was too cold to use but that's to be expected so early in spring and the hot tub was lovely and relaxing anyway. The spacious playing fields were great the boys loved playing in them and we made great use of the foot golf which was free to those staying in the cottages. The chickens and bunnies are great. There is a model train track which is fab! There is a tesco down the road which is handy so no need to pack food. Poppit beach is a must which was about 15 minute drive from Trenewydd such a beautiful beach. If the weather is wet jump 5 hangar trampoline park isnt too far and fun for the kids. Ginnie was so helpful suggesting places to eat and things to do we really appreciated her help and advice. Cardigan village was lovely with nice fish shops and ice cream parlours. We will definitely be returning had such a lovely time! Highly recommend Trenewydd. Thank you Ginnie and Andrew. You have made such a lovely place over 2 years congratulations to you both. We look forward to seeing you in the future for lots more fun!

Has the Ty Twt cottage have its own private hot tub or is it shared?
Answer from The Corbetts
St. Dogmaels, United Kingdom3 contributions
Ty Twt (or Cosy Cottage) sleeps 2/3 and has exclusive use of the hot tub spa sited on the decking there in a private enclosed garden. It has a King-sized, 4-poster bed and a bed settee. There is also a large communal outdoor heated swimming pool which is seasonal, usually end of May to mid September. Oak Cottage sleeping 9 also has exclusive use of another hot tub spa sited on the patio at Oak Cottage.
