Stayed at Haroldston House with friends on a short trip to the picturesque village of Solva on the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. This is a wonderful newly opened bed and breakfast in a Georgian house retaining many of its original features. Our hosts, Ian and Maria, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. My room - the Master Bedroom - had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! The en suite bathrooms are superb. The house has been beautifully decorated and there is original art work everywhere, amongst which are some unique items from India and some drawings produced by Ian himself, who is an accomplished artist. The breakfasts were outstanding with personal choices and dietary needs being readily met, as well as some innovative dishes being on offer. Haroldston House is being run with high regard being paid to environmental responsibility. If you are in this part of the country, a stay at Harldston House is a must!

Many thanks – it was a pleasure to have you all to stay. Pleased that you liked the room's latex-topped mattress, and glad that our eco-efforts clicked with you.

Wow - what a find. This new B&B has something for everyone. Luxurious decorations, comfortable bedrooms, soft bedding, sparking bathroom, designer furniture, fabulous eye for colour and coordination, tvs and tablet for the kids. There is a family room that sleeps 4.
The breakfasts are freshly made with scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, fresh bread and more teas than you'd be able to remember.
If that wasn't enough, the coastal scenery is spectacular. We caught it it glorious sunshine and it could have been the Med.
There is original artwork from Ian and Maria's (owners) travels and local artworks.
To call this a B&B is a misnomer - I've been in 4 star hotels less impressive than this. I doubt once established this place will be bookable except long in advance!

Many thanks; you certainly saw Solva at its best. Very pleased that you were able to get out to Melin Tregwynt woollen mill – and that you shared Ian’s tea obsession!

The name describes Hardoldston House perfectly but doesn't do it justice. Accommodation, yes, but with the finest attention to detail and consideration for the guest. Art, most definitely, not only in the literal sense with great work on display on every wall but also in the decoration and choice of wonderful furniture in each room.

I have always been reluctant to stay in B&Bs, the homely feel is great in theory but in reality they're not home and despite friendly welcomes from proprietors the rooms almost always disappoint. I am a convert following 2 wonderful nights in a superb place. It is immaculate, welcoming, comfortable and in a fantastic location, especially if you are venturing onto the Coast Path. If you like the finer things in life and crave luxurious simplicity I can't recommend this little gem highly enough.

I have been visiting Pembrokeshire my whole life and need no excuse to make the trip to this cherished place but Haroldston House has given me a whole new reason to go back.

Stayed at Haroldston house as part of a 2 week holiday for 3 nights. We stayed in the Stable Studio, this is a lovely bright space with a very comfortable bed. The wet room is finished to a high standard & the shower is great. The kitchenette is suitable for basic meal preparation but lacks space for anything beyond that. The art on show adds individuality. A little less furniture would possibly aid ease of movement around the dpace. Good position for the Puffin Bus for cliff walkers.

I had a great stay in Haroldston House B&B recently. Maria and Ian are very knowledgable about every aspect of Pembrokeshire, and very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and newly renovated. Breakfast was an equally stylish affair. Very happy to recommend this lovely & great value place to stay.

We recently stayed at the Haroldston House for a four-day weekend, and we can't wait to go back.

This cozy house in the middle of Solva village is just a short walk from the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast with many miles of trails to enjoy. Our hosts Ian and Maria shared a wealth of knowledge of local art and history, drawing together strands of geography, archaeology, and culture.

The rooms were comfortable, welcoming and artistically designed, with tasteful colour schemes, all with the highest environmental standards. Delicious and abundant breakfasts were provided with great variety, satisfying the restricted diet of one of our party.

Haroldston House offers a great base from which to explore Wales. Bus service just up the street makes travel to St. David's, as well as to other parts of the coast, very easy.

Many thanks to Ian & Maria for a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay with the very welcoming Maria and Ian. Lovely rooms and the B&B was very well placed for St Davids and also for Fishguard. The B&B is right by the Pembroke Coastal Path. Heartily recommended

Haroldston House is a fantastic B&B - amazing food, and warm welcome from Ian and Maria. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The house itself is a beautiful restoration with great carachter, and Solva is a great village with nice shops and pubs.

This B and B is fabulous. It is in a great location and the interiors are quirky and sumptuous. We had the suite which accommodated me and my sister very comfortably. The hosts are kind and helpful and there is a boutique feel about the place. As for the breakfasts, they really are amazing. Don't expect a full English/Welsh breakfast because they are so much more imaginative. Everything is homemade including the natural yoghurt and all the breads on offer. The whole place has the feel of being a little bit special and there is everything you need for a long or short stay. This was a lovely individual B and B and I would choose it again if I was in the area.
