Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed three nights. Tuesday through Friday morning. Used as a base to visit various local places, including Cambridge itself. We selected The Three Hills on the basis of the many other previous strong recommendations. Everything fully lived up to our expectations whether the accommodation (we stayed in Fayence, one of the units in the annexe) and the meals etc. We ate in on two evenings using both the main restaurant and another time the bar area. The quality of the food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent as was the very friendly and efficient service by all the staff we met There are road works currently affecting one of the shorter driving routes to the pub but the slight diversion is actually very good and probably slightly safer.

The Hardwick bedroom is one of the most comfortable bedrooms we have stayed in. Great bed with plenty of space and the added attraction of a very good dining room. Service was excellent and a great breakfast.

We've stayed here a couple of times and each visit is a joy. The rooms are excellent and well-appointed with lovely decor. This time we opted for a room in the 'barn' across from the pub. It was lovely and quiet (apart from the drone of the mini fridge which we had to turn off again - maybe just give milk in a thermos?). Shower was lovely and hot, all immaculately clean. Bed divine. We woke up well-rested and ready for the day. Breakfast was very good but sadly we were still a bit full from the previous night's dinner to really appreciate it. We were travelling for business in Cambridge and a slightly earlier breakfast start would have been helpful as we were a bit rushed to get to our 9.30am meeting in time. We'll certainly be back. It's a firm favourite!

What an amazing find and it deserves to be the winner of many awards. Its been beautifully refurbished to the highest of design. We were made most welcome and all the staff were very friendly. The food and drinks did not disappoint either. This is certainly a 5star establishment.

We booked this pub as we were visiting Audley End House. Wouldn't have found it otherwise. What a gem we'd have missed! It's easy to see why it has so many accolades. The room was incredibly clean, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was relaxing and top notch! Particularly the homemade granola that topped my porridge. Fabulous service from Georgia. The self check in and out eliminates any faff. Emailed instructions are clear. Wish we'd had time to stay longer. Can't recommend enough

We had a fantastic stay at The Three Hills. The food and room were both great. The outstanding feature though was the excellent quality of the service from all of the team we met there. We genuinely felt that nothing was too much trouble and that they did their utmost to make our stay perfect.

Stayed in Rosetta in the annex. Excellent room, well designed and furnished. Spotlessly clean, all facilities you would need. Had a great nights sleep. Good value for money. No negatives, would recommend.

We stayed here for one night before a visit to IWM Duxford. The hotel is a small and charming property with plenty of parking. The bedroom and bathroom were on the small side but well-appointed and comfortable. Our special recommendation is the food. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional.
