We were a party of 2 couples and haven’t stayed in a guest house for many years. Alvin and David are a joy and keep the guest house spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were provided with excellent breakfasts and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. So much so that the 4 of us were reluctant to leave. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this guest house.
About as good as it gets. Fantastic hosts, incredible food, excellent location, beautiful house/room/scenery/view. An absolute bargain given the quality of service, highly recommend. Will definitely be staying again. 11/10
This was our 3rd stay at Einion House and it ticked all the boxes, as did our previous 2 stays. Alvin and David made us feel very welcome, their attention to detail is second to none. Einion House is as impressive on the inside as it is on the out. The accommodation is spotless and our room had everything required to equip us with a very comfortable and enjoyable 3 night break.
We have just had a week at Einion House that we couldn’t have bettered. I’ve read through a fair number of these reviews and they are all generally positive - similar in their praise for Alvin and David and their B&B. I have to say I agree. So I ask myself, “What can I add?” Indeed, if you want a fair idea of what Einion House is and how well Alvin and David run their B&B and care for their guests, many people have already said as much, and more eloquently than I could. But when I first stayed at Einion House in October 2009 I remember thinking that what set Alvin and David apart was that it really seemed to matter to them how their guests felt whilst staying with them. I believe the reviews show they have consistently put their hearts into running Einion House. Indeed, whilst they have kept the place extremely well-maintained, adapted their business to modern standards and coped smoothly with the constraints of COVID 19, broadly things remain as I remember: a comfortable, efficient place to stay with hosts who bring a smile to your face when you arrive and a tear to your eyes when you leave. Thank you both.…
This was my second stay at Einion House and as before, Alvin and David were wonderful hosts, going out their way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The house is spotless with many thoughtful features for their guests’ comfort, beautiful sea views. Breakfasts were delicious; we especially liked the freshly prepared grapefruit, orange and melon. We will be back.
Have just returned from a two night stay in Einion House. My family are regular visitors to the area over many years and we particularly enjoy the scenic walks and mountain biking in Coed y Brenin (great for my two teenage boys). Alvin and David are wonderful hosts and we always feel most welcome, this visit being no different. The rooms are immaculate as are the delicious breakfasts. This was our first visit since the start of the pandemic and we felt very secure given the extra safeguards Alvin and David have put in place to protect their visitors. Again, thanks to Alvin and David for all their hospitality and we hope to return later in the summer for another visit.
This was our second visit to this little gem, and it was as good as the last. Everything about Einion is just superb. Our bedroom was immaculate. The white bedding was fresh and so were all of the white towels, and there was a goodly supply of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Our breakfasts were super and beautifully served with a good choice. I loved the sausages , in fact we both loved everything. Our hosts were very obliging, nothing was to much trouble, the tea and the coffee was excellent and we loved the little chats before we went out for the day. Yes we will return.
Stayed for 3 nights, just before the 2 week firebreak introduced by the Welsh government. The proprietors, Alvin and David, follow the covid safely guidelines rigorously but still managed to make our stay warm and homely. As always, nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, cleanliness is exceptional, breakfasts are delicious, and we can strongly recommend that this is without doubt a wonderful place to stay
We really enjoyed our three night stay with David and Alvin who made us feel very cosseted and safe. Wonderful breakfasts and comfortable accommodation in a tranquil location. There’s also a station on the doorstep which can whisk you north toward the Lleyn peninsula or south to Aberdovey. Recommended.
One of the best B & B's that I have ever stayed in. Alvin and David are fantastic hosts and very easy to talk to. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the towels and bedding smelt beautiful. Duvets and pillows were so soft and comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to perfection - the best I have ever had. Fantastic views. Couldn't fault anything about Einion House.
