I have over a century of family connections with Fairbourne and the beautiful Mawddach Estuary so am irresistably drawn back every year, but even if that weren't the case I'd have to go back to Einion House at least once a year. Alvin and David have for over 15 years now kept Einion House as the best Guest House you could ever wish to stay at. The rooms are immaculately maintained and completely spotless, breakfasts are superb and Alvin and David are completely conscientious and wonderfully friendly hosts. There is absolutely nothing that is 'Just OK' about Einion House!

My partner and I stayed at Einion House with a friend for a 3 night visit. My friend had stayed there several times before and spoke highly of it so I expected it to be good and I wasn’t disappointed. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by Alvin and David and had a much appreciated drink of tea/coffee then they helped carry our bags to our rooms. Our rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and presented. There was plentiful supply of toiletries in the bathroom and tea/coffee making supplies in the bedroom. The white bedding and towels were perfect. Our room was a good size and had views over fields and the sea and it was calming and relaxing. Alvin and David were perfect hosts and chatted to us telling us about the area and answering our questions. The breakfasts were wonderful and really set us up for the day. After our days out we went into Fairbourne for our evening meal. We particularly liked the Penrhyn Bar and Grill then went back to Einion House and sat chatting in the lovely lounge. We all thoroughly enjoyed our short break in Wales. Einion House is a lovely house, very clean and well presented and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Alvin and David for making our visit so enjoyable. We hope to visit you again. Freda, Roger and Ann…

Einion House was the ideal place for an overnight stay when my wife and I wanted to extend our holiday in Fairbourne, to avoid travelling back to England on the last day of the heatwave! Alvin couldn’t have been more welcoming, our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and he and David provided us with a delicious cooked breakfast. We would certainly recommend their guest house to anyone wishing to stay in this beautiful area, which has been much loved by us and our family for very many years.

I stayed for 3 nights visiting old places from long family holidays in the area many years ago. Found the accomodation clean and comfortable, decent breakfast cooked by the quiet partner while the other host was full of ideas for things to do in the area for those unfamiliar. I wish I'd been able to stay longer to explore some of those ideas having visited the places special to me. Thanks Guys, I 've no doubt I 'll be back on my next trip down memory lane!

This guesthouse is in a great location for visiting Faiorbourne (just a shot walk to the beach) and also fo Arthog Adventure Centre, my daughter was at the center with school but concerned about being away from home which is why I wanted to stay close by. There is plety to do locally, fishing pools, the beach, the blue lake, the walk to Barmouth, golf etc The guesthouse is warm, clean and furnished to a high standard. the breakfast was deliecious and the hosts were kind and welcoming. I would definately recomend this guesthouse if you want to stay in the area.

We were a party of 2 couples and haven’t stayed in a guest house for many years. Alvin and David are a joy and keep the guest house spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were provided with excellent breakfasts and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. So much so that the 4 of us were reluctant to leave. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this guest house.

About as good as it gets. Fantastic hosts, incredible food, excellent location, beautiful house/room/scenery/view. An absolute bargain given the quality of service, highly recommend. Will definitely be staying again. 11/10

This was our 3rd stay at Einion House and it ticked all the boxes, as did our previous 2 stays. Alvin and David made us feel very welcome, their attention to detail is second to none. Einion House is as impressive on the inside as it is on the out. The accommodation is spotless and our room had everything required to equip us with a very comfortable and enjoyable 3 night break.

We have just had a week at Einion House that we couldn’t have bettered. I’ve read through a fair number of these reviews and they are all generally positive - similar in their praise for Alvin and David and their B&B. I have to say I agree. So I ask myself, “What can I add?” Indeed, if you want a fair idea of what Einion House is and how well Alvin and David run their B&B and care for their guests, many people have already said as much, and more eloquently than I could. But when I first stayed at Einion House in October 2009 I remember thinking that what set Alvin and David apart was that it really seemed to matter to them how their guests felt whilst staying with them. I believe the reviews show they have consistently put their hearts into running Einion House. Indeed, whilst they have kept the place extremely well-maintained, adapted their business to modern standards and coped smoothly with the constraints of COVID 19, broadly things remain as I remember: a comfortable, efficient place to stay with hosts who bring a smile to your face when you arrive and a tear to your eyes when you leave. Thank you both.…

This was my second stay at Einion House and as before, Alvin and David were wonderful hosts, going out their way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The house is spotless with many thoughtful features for their guests’ comfort, beautiful sea views. Breakfasts were delicious; we especially liked the freshly prepared grapefruit, orange and melon. We will be back.
