Stayed for four nights which were originally booked pre-pandemic. Worth the wait. Danielle and Lewis run a great place where nothing too much trouble. Accommodation was very comfortable. Breakfasts and dinner nicely cooked and decent portions. Secure storage for bikes. Loads to do locally. Highly recommended.

So ive stayed here before with some MTB buddies and all we did was ride drink beer and eat cake...lots of cake..and It was great. This visit was with my wife for a weekend break and decided not to take my bike but instead take some advice from the brilliant hosts Danielle and Lewis and explore some of the amazing countryside around the area. Trekking up Snowdon was an idea but Danielle advised us of another mountain , similar in height and stunning views jusr a short 20 min away from the front door without all the tourist hassle of an hour wait at the top for a selfie. It didn't disappoint , Cadir Idris was Stunning.. The whole weekend was completed with glorious weather . I cant fault Oldskool .. great location, great catering , great hosts.. The only fault is that its so good... . you just may struggle to book... its brilliant

Danielle and Lewis have a great setup here. We booked the whole place for a long weekend and had a fantastic stay…. Think catered ski chalet concept which was excellent given long days hitting the MTB trails. The accommodation is spotless, well designed, lovely linens and towels etc. As for the food, there were many options to select for evening meal and quality was great and plenty to go round. My best stay in Wales MTB and would definitely come back….

Quite simply because Lewis and Danielle have created what can only be described as the PERFECT accommodation for mountain bikers. Stay here and everywhere else after will feel like a second best compromise. Comfy, welcoming, cheerful with everything you need before and after a day on the trails. I don't know why I'm telling you this, I'd prefer if you booked elsewhere so that they have more availability for us to return in the future ;)

Fantastic place! Beautifully done, comfortable and everything you need for a fantastic weekend! So glad we managed to have our weekend even if the rules meant we couldn't enjoy the inside spaces quite as much as we'd have liked to! Lewis and Danni were wonderful hosts. The food was great and exactly what was needed after a day on the bikes. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great weekend. I'm looking forward to a follow up visit.... It was really just ideal.
