Really wonderful location and great facilities for families with young kids. The staff are amazing and we had a tremendous time overall. We will be back. We stayed in the Grangette gite, which was really lovely and perfectly equipped for a small family. The only gripe I would have is that the double bed was very small. As someone 6'2" tall, it was a bit too short for me.

This was our 6th visit to Longeveau in 10 years of coming. It's like a second home for our kids, and we will be returning many times in future too. It just works so well for a family holiday and is the perfect blend of relaxed, comfortable, and activity packed. So many beautiful places to visit in the area too. We love it!

We celebrated our wedding at Longeveau in September, and it was more magical than we could ever have imagined. I can't thank Julie and her team enough for all their work to ensure our day ran smoothly and everything went off without a hitch. Our guests were well looked after, the food and service was exceptional, the team really couldn't do enough for us and all with a big smile and sense of humour. All our guests have commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, so if you're after a wedding venue to remember, then look no further! Thank you team Longeveau x

We’ve just come back from the most wonderful week staying at le Manoir de Longeveau. It is so well suited to families and the little touches (the weekly BBQ, being able to get pastries in the morning, welcome boxes you can order) just make all the difference. The staff working there are all extremely lovely and helpful (particularly Sophie who was so helpful when we needed some guidance). My son (aged 3) had such a great time and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be looking to come back for future holidays.

This is I believe our 7th visit to Longeveau over a 30 year period and it only gets better. The gites are lovely, the setting is idyllic - peaceful and within easy reach of interesting places to visit. The facilities are excellent and all within a short stroll. Richard, Olivia and the team make you very welcome and if you want a quiet break for 2 or an extended family holiday for all ages it’s perfect

The location is just amazing. It is an isolated enclave of primarily British-rented properties that sit miles from anywhere within the beautiful French countryside, but close enough to drive to lovely towns, river beaches, kayaking, tree climbing and so on. We first went with our two children when they were aged about 5 years old and we loved sitting in the pavilion drinking local wine in the evening sun while they played safely on the tennis courts with all the other children. We've been five times in the last 10 years and our kids still harangue us to return regularly to meet-up with the same families who are also repeat visitors. A wonderful place for a family holiday.

Visited with my wife and had a great week. The property was quiet due to Covid and they very kindly upgraded us to Jolie Arches which was great. The property was nice and rustic but with a dishwasher and washing machine good table outsde and a BBQ. Played golf most days where the course, which is nine holes and a bit tight in places, was in good condition. Staff are great, most speak English, and always keen to sort out any problems with Julie and Nina getting special mentions.

We enjoyed our 10-day stay at Longeveau as a family of 4 (2 boys aged 4 and 7). The central clubhouse with tennis courts, bar, pool table and tables and chairs for admiring the view or eating a meal are lovely. The central swimming pool was also well secured and a good size. There is a pleasant, relaxed feel about the place, which is really nice when you have young kids who can roam around in a secure setting as you take in the view over the golf course. Fish and chips on Tuesday nights were a highlight, as was the bbq night. There was no “lads vs dads” football match organised or any live music evenings, which was a real shame! We stayed for the first few days in l’Appartement, which feels really luxurious and spacious, with lovely double showers and washbasins, separate toilet, huge bedrooms and spacious lounge with a well-appointed kitchen. After that, we moved to the Atelier, which although full of character, needs some TLC. The kitchen tap is broken, as is the pedal bin. The one bathroom is very small, with a badly stained toilet and water damage on the floor by the shower (we did actually have water coming through the ceiling on our first day, but Richard swiftly fixed the problem with a new seal on the shower door). It could basically do with a bathroom refit. I would also recommend a different property if you have older kids, as the space upstairs is very limited. Having said that, the little private garden with bbq is a real asset. In sum, we would probably return to Longeveau but stay in a different cottage.…
