We got married in Aubeterre Sur Dronne July 2019. We had hoped for a wedding venue that could host all our guests for 3 nights (120) and Longeveau was perfect. The setting is picturesque with the beautiful manor house, rustic barn and carefully restored onsite accommodation. Richard, Olivia, Julie and the team were welcoming and made sure all our guests were looked after. The wedding reception was expertly managed with quality food, plenty of beverages and staff that were willing to let the party run into the small hours! We also held our day two celebration onsite with a BBQ pool party. Again, the staff at Longeveau helped us organise a day that we and our guests will never forget. We can't thank you enough for an forgettable three days and we would highly recommend Manoir de Longeveau.

We celebrated our wedding in October in Longeveau and couldn't have asked for more! The venue is absolutely stunning and the cottages are just beautiful. The Julie and the team went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much for making our wedding such a success and wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back for our first anniversary!

We had a fantastic stay this summer and loved our gite, the surroundings and central tennis courts , bar etc. The food is wonderful, and recommend the wine tasting night in particular as well as pizza night. Great , relaxed setting for younger kids. There is LOADS to do very close by, the river beaches in particular are superb. Just one thing marred our stay, every time we went to the central bar area we could hear owners of the gites moaning about guests and people behind the bar clearly disgruntled with one another. It made for a slightly less enjoyable trip

Thank you for your feedback. We’re are glad you all enjoyed your stay with us! We are also disapointed and sorry that you overheard some negative discussions while you were in the bar area. Some of the properties at Longevau are privately owned. However knowing the owners very well and knowing who was here over the summer, this does seem out of place. Some golf members and local visitors to the bar have gites rentals of their own, so perhaps this could be where the moaning originated from?! Sadly we had a couple staffing issues, towards the end of the summer, for which I assume this was connected, and appologise. The situation with these staff was resolved, shortly afterwards. We value a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at Longeveau and we are sorry that this took the shine of your stay with us. We would love the opportunity for you to experience Longeveau in a better light, another time..

Have just returned to the US after a wonderful week of celebrating my sisters 50th wedding Anniversary. We all had the most wonderful relaxing time, plenty of time to share with family and friends in this beautiful setting. Would love to return in the future. I recommend this destination to every one, plenty of room and freedom for children to roam in safety and adults enjoy time together. Beautiful part of France and the local people are very patient with the tourists.

We spent a week at Manoir de Longeveau and the only complaint from any of our party was that it wasn’t a longer stay! This is a place that offers something for everyone - sports, swimming, scenery and sunshine, an excellent bar, great food options (including weekly barbecue and fish & chip nights) and a real sense of warm hospitality. We have now separately experienced a wonderful wedding and an outstanding family vacation at Longeveau and we are looking forward to the next visit. This time around we also saw more of the surrounding villages and market towns, including the historic church and antique shops in Aubeterre, the riverside charm of Poltrot and the winding streets of Périgueux. There are some excellent restaurants recommended in the helpful room guide and the hosts were very helpful in sharing alternative ideas for day trips and local activities to suit all tastes.
