Sometimes you worry slightly that you have very high expectations when a B and B is rated 5 stars by everyone, that it won't quite live up to those expectations. Well we need not have been concerned at all because every thing that has been written about Glendavan House is true. We loved it. From the luxurious room with the...

This is easy to write. Stayed here for two nights, and honestly if I could give this 6 stars I would. Superb remote surroundings, and a lovely welcome on arrival. Red squirrels at our window, pheasants feeding in front of us, what a place. There is not a single thing I could say negative about our stay. The room was...

Glendavan is simply one of the best guest houses that we've stayed at. The house is beautifully decorated and the suites are spacious and well appointed. We stayed in the Trantor suite which is a lovely room and has a separate lounge and huge bathroom. Breakfast was great, and Rebecca's hosting and knowledge of the local area is fantastic. We'll...

Just beautiful. Like staying at your favorite aunt's house in the country. Room was gorgeous but with all modern amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and service super friendly. Tea and shortbread on arrival! Adorable red squirrels roaming the grounds. Definitely the place to get away from it all.

I booked Glendavan for a Wedding we attended at nearby Glentaner Estate. I cannot begin to emphasise how pleased my family and I were. The welcome was fabulous and Moira and Rebecca made us feel so at home in this luxury All-Suite Boutique B&B. The finite little touches such as the beautiful fresh flowers in each suite together with a...

Wonderful house, beautiful rooms, an amazing breakfast and operated by the most lovely, charming ladies. Location could not be better, close to Ballater and Braemar, with the Rotal household between the two. Around an hour from Aberdeen airport, the location could not be better. The house is a stunning country house, extremely well appointed, we stayed in the Davan room...

This place is beautiful! We were made welcome as soon as we stepped out of the car and truly impressed with the house. This is an awesome place to stay and the best B&B I have stayed. The location radiates peace and tranquility. It gas earned it's great rating.

We last stayed at Glendavan House for two nights back in 2012. One might imagine that one's memory would inflate the experience, but apparently not! Staying at Glendavan House was wonderful in 2012 and equally wonderful in 2015. We had spent the day exploring and arrived someone tired and in need of pampering. Moira greeted us at the door. Well...

Glendavan is a perfect retreat, run by mum, Moira, and daughter, Rebecca, both extremely welcoming and aiming to please. With a small number of large bedrooms, all furnished in keeping with this large Victorian mansion, Glendavan is a place to relax or a place to base your exploration of the amazing surrounding countryside. We stayed only two nights, and were...

From the moment we arrived here in its forest location, I felt very calm. We had a warm welcome and a cup of tea to greet us and we settled in fast. We'd booked the Ogston suite - lounge, bedroom, bathroom and conservatory which let us watch the red squirrels and birds, not to mention the owner's hens as they...
