Detailed Reviews
Stayed for 3 nights in Roshven, with great views at all times of day and private balcony and entrance. The immaculately presented room had everything you need and unusually comfortable armchairs to loll in (fell asleep) From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Angus as we got out of the car, nothing was too much trouble for the whole team. We were lucky enough to have some great weather and Angus managed to give us great advice on beaches etc whilst still serving everyone breakfast. We ate in the restaurant each evening and cannot fault the food, drink or service. What we really liked was that the team is so attentive with the perfect blend of discreet friendly professionalism. And if you like watching ducks running around you’ll love it!

Stayed for four nights as a family of four in the Mingarry suite. It was about a 1 hour drive from the Corran ferry to Acharacle which is a central location for exploring further west to Ardnamurchan Point or
north to Mallaig. A stunning part of the world with plenty to see.
The hotel was spotless, modern and well equipped. The staff were friendly and always on hand.
The Mingarry suite is large, warm, modern and furnished to a high standard. The suite has a small balcony with a stunning view over Ben Resipole. Fortunately the weather was great during our stay. At night the balcony was the perfect place to see the sky awash with stars due to the rural dark location and hear the sound of stags in the distance.
The restaurant has similar views of Ben Resipole and the quality of food excellent. Breakfast was enough to see you comfortably through the day until evening meal. Service was great with friendly staff and nothing too much trouble.
In the current covid climate all precautions have been taken in the hotel.
Hope to return in the future.

The clue is in the name - Luxury!
What a fantastic place The Mingarry Park is. From the moment we stepped across the door threshold to the moment we left we were treated to professional friendliness, smiley faces, help and advice on the the area, whiskeys and ducks of which there are a few but in no way were they noisy or messy.
Our suite was the Moidart Junior which has bags of room with a large sitting area, huge comfortable bed fabulously made up in crisp white cotton/linen. There was a very roomy wardrobe (with wooden hangers!! That matters! not a plastic or wire hanger in sight), also in the wardrobe was a mini fridge with lots of goodies, robes and slippers and a hairdryer. Also in the room was a coffee machine and separately a kettle and tea/coffee tray. French windows open onto a balcony with more chairs, a table and a simply stunning view A thoughtful touch and very practical was a wireless phone charger on the bedside table! Immaculately presented and squeaky clean
The bathroom also was huge and modern with a fantastic hot and powerful shower, plenty of light. Immaculately presented and squeaky clean
Following a delicious supper of smoked salmon starter (proper smoked salmon), salad with a beautiful, freshly homemade herb dressing and then fish and chunky perfectly cooked chips. Coffees and whiskies to follow.
We had a seriously comfortable night, peaceful, warm and quiet. A leisurely breakfast of poached eggs (yes, Emma has nailed poached eggs too), grilled tomatoes on toast as requested and my partner had delicious porridge and very decent coffee.
The Mingarry Park is perfectly positioned for breathtaking scenery, walking, cycling or just relaxing - good for the soul! Ample car park, our room and everywhere we went was spotlessly clean, very professionally run, modern - just perfect. We will most certainly be back.
Emma, for somebody so young you have created something very special here. You have achieved a superb small hotel, you have a sharp eye and you are on the ball, you know what is required to be successful and have met and surpassed a level of quality most people fail to meet, we travel a lot and I truly rate you at the top.
Thank you to you and your lovely sister Nicola for a wonderful stay.

Stayed two nights in early October 2021. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff welcoming. Food was good.
However, the bedroom walls are very thin and you hear everything from the neighbouring rooms. The menu didn’t change from night to night which was disappointing; especially as some items became unavailable. Also the breakfast wasn’t in the league of others we’ve experienced on this trip…
It would have been helpful of the hotel offered real advice (aside from a guide book to fort William!) on the local area and also if rooms were cleaned daily - these are things that should be standard for a 4 star location!

I am very happy to hear that you found your room to be spacious and comfortable and that our staff were welcoming. Our staff are always on hand with helpful advice about our local area and are always delighted to help when asked. As well as our very well informed staff, your pre-arrival email directs you to our amazing local tourist association website www.westhighlandpeninsulas.com which provides excellent tips on things to see and do while staying in Ardnamurchan. We also mention in your pre-arrival email that due to Covid we are not providing a daily cleaning service as standard to help protect our staff and guests however it does also say that we are more than happy to take fresh towels, cups, teas/coffees to your room when asked, I apologise if you missed all this information in the email sent to you. With regards your evening meal I would be amazed to find any hotel in the country changing their a la carte menu daily especially a menu such as ours with a choice of 6 starters 6 mains and 5 desserts. There is no requirement to change a menu of this size daily. Only one item (our salmon dish) became unavailable at the end of the evening. Our Chef replaced the salmon with haddock so the dish was exactly the same only with a different type of fish. When asked if you enjoyed the meal you told our waiter that you did so I find this all very bizarre. Kind regards

My wife picked this hotel for her Birthday weekend. 23rd to 26th July. What a brilliant choice. Our room (Roshven) was large, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and accessible as she needs a wheelchair and walking sticks to get around. It has beautiful views and a good balcony for sitting out. All the staff are extremely friendly, efficient, and are very knowledgeable about the area. We had dinner in the hotel for the three nights and the food was excellent every time, there was also a great selection of drinks. We were also fortunate to have fantastic weather, a really wonderful stay. I am sure we will return in the future. Blair Thomson, Anne MacDonald.

We stayed for 5 nights in the Mingarry Suite, which provided us with fabulous views from both the windows and balcony. The bedroom, bathroom and sitting room were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, decorated to an extremely high standard. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, suggesting places of interesting nearby to visit. The restaurant offers a great breakfast to set you up for the day and superb meals in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; an excellent base to explore the Scottish Highlands!!

Accommodation, food and service of an excellent standard. I particularly enjoyed the Duck and my wife raved about the Salmon. We booked for two nights stay in the Mingarry Suite which was very tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Thank you for a very enjoyable break.

Just returned from our third stay at Mingarry, food, service and accommodation were superb as always. We stayed in the Mingarry Suite, which now has a fridge / min bar which is a great addition. We took advantage of the packed lunches on offer as it's not always easy to find somewhere to buy food as it's a remote area. Venison steaks were fantastic as is the fresh fish and chips. The suite is great for relaxing, with views to Ben Resipole and Loch Shiel, you'll see deer wandering through the grounds and be amused by the ducks.
