Jan and Gordon couldn't be better or more gracious hosts; they are thoughtful and skillful in making your stay the most comfortable and memorable. I consider it my privilege that they'd open their home to me. Jan's cooking is to die for.

We stayed with Jan and Gordon for 2 nights to attend a local wedding. They were very welcoming and the rooms were spotless and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the breakfasts were excellent.

Myself and 3 friends stayed with Jan and Gordon for 3 nights while doing the Speyside Way. They were excellent hosts. Jan collected us from Aviemore and took us to our walk starting points. The rooms were spotless. After having a hearty breakfast, Jan supplied us with a packed lunch for our days walking. I would certainly recommend to anyone...

After a very tiring leg of the Speyside Way, three friends were welcomed warmly by Jan and Gordon into their lovely, spotless home. The bottle of NZ white which was on chill for us was a good start, good hospitality and a hearty breakfast ( eggs laid by the ducks that J & G keep) made this a very comfortable,...

We walked the Speyside Way and had only one night at A Eilean A Cheo but were absolutely happy with this accomodation - almost didn't want to leave it. The rooms are bright and very cosy. Everything is nice and clean. The surroundings are quiet and the garden offers spectacular views. The hosts are absolutely friendly and helpful in every...

I stayed at A Eilean A Cheo from the 1st of April for 3 nights. I mainly chose due to its location and good reasonable rates. It is up a very quiet road so you would not be disturbed by traffic. I was travelling alone as I was on a birdwatching trip (mainly for black grouse) but this accomodation is...

This was one of the best B&Bs we stayed in during our walk along the Speyside Way. We were given a warm welcome and were very kindly given a lift into Grantown for our evening meal as the local hotel had just changed hands and was having difficulty providing food. The house was spotless, had beautiful views and breakfast was...

A comfortable large house for our party of seven - but only one bathroom! Very kindly hosts took us to the town where we could eat at the hotel.

Jan and Gordon are wonderful hosts, and gave great advice and help about walking, touring and fishing.Their place was cozy and immaculate, not too many bathrooms, but loads of charm, great meals, and relaxed and friendly chats. It's wonderful in the Highlands, when we go again, we would definitely stay at A Eilean A Cheo!

A Eilean a Cheo was a quiet modern comfortable home with stunning views, offering easy access to some of the most impressive country that Scotland has to offer. The food was of a very high standard and nothing was too much trouble to help us enjoy our stay to the full
