Just had an overnight stay at the Black Bull and it certainly won't be the last time we stay here. We had a lovely double room overlooking the Market Place, with a large en suite shower room. The bed was really comfy, with crisp white bedding and lovely plump pillows. A very minor downside is that each of the two...

Great location in the town with large well equipped rooms. The bar area was nicely finished with a good selection of beers (and whiskies!) and the breakfast was great with local produce being used, which is always nice to see. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a very nice place to stop if your...

Huge bed and huge bathroom and loads of quirky furniture and fittings. Alan and Mandy the owners very friendly and helpful. The staff were lovely especially Jen in the dining room and behind the bar. Will...

Our stay at the Black Bull was excellent the Dinner menu was fantastic and different from the Pub meals you would expect, we were traveling with our Canadian Family, heading for Kirkcaldy Scotland and was an excellent stop off point. Accommodation was excellent Owners Alan & Mandy are very friendly.

Very good food; one of our party said "The best soup ever in a pub!" Consistently high standard and very friendly staff. Well worth a visit if you're visiting the Borders and well worth regular visits if you live nearby

Thank Dave M
