Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We rented a static caravan at the park for a 4 night stay, the van was as described in the advert, it was comfortable and the staff were friendly. New Reception and bar was very well appointed and cosy.

This is a really lovely quiet place to stay. It is aimed at familes which was good for our family but if you want entertainment there isn't any. It is also very difficult to access WiFi from the caravan particularly after 10/11pm each evening. It would cut off and no way of connecting. The bar is nice. Very quiet and often empty. Although if there is an owner's night it is packed and sadly some of the people very rude which was disappointing. The local village is nice one bar dog and child friendly. A lovely stay sadly more entertaining places nearby. Would recommend pease bay as so close to the beach there is no competition

Just spend a week in one of their static caravans and it was lovely. Little clubhouse is lovely and not too expensive and their was an owners event on the Saturday which was great! Caravan itself was very spacious and clean. Some of the kitchen utensils and appliances need to be replaced however, very dull knives and the kettle wasn’t very clean. Switch for the fireplace had been hidden behind another piece of furniture so to begin with we didn’t think it worked. Other than that the caravan was great with lots of fridge and freezer space and everything you would need. Main issue we had was that 4 days into our stay we had one of the receptionists knock on the door to tell us that they had received multiple noise complaints regarding us and that one more complaint would result in security removing us from the site. We ended up going up to the club to speak to reception to see what was going on as we were not being loud, no blasting music or anything. Different receptionist told us they had reports of screaming, shouting and arguing at 5am as well as music blasting in the early hours of the morning, we confirmed that this 100% was not us as we had been in bed at these times. Reception manager came out and told us that’s it’s maybe just because when your in a caravan and hear a noise you can’t always tell which direction it’s come from. This was understandable but we were a little put off that there was no actual proof that we were the ones making the noise it was more of an assumption on the complainers/reception staff. Unsure if possible blame had been pinned on us as we are a young couple and there was only 3/4 vans around us that were occupied. Coldingham itself is a beautiful place and it’s only a short drive to both Eyemouth and st Abbs.

After a lovely drive (apart from the long delay due to a crash on the A1) through lovely scenic roads, I arrived at the park. I had been there before, a few year back in my little old touring caravan with my old dog PIP (rip pip). I had wanted to go to berwick holiday park, but haven messed me around on the booking system so much I gave up. The park was lovely, the staff friendly, the caravan was ready waiting for me (unlike haven last time where I had to wait...) - nice and warm and spotlessly clean. Everything was provided, bed linen, towels, pots, pans, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, even a welcome pack with tea, coffee, washing up liquid, tea towel etc. A few leaflets on the shelf next to the fire listed local places to visit/attractions etc. Nice caravan, although I dislike almost all modern vans due to lack of character, this one did have more than most I have stayed in. Only thing I would like better would be a bit more padding on the seats really, but other than that it was a fantastic (and cheap) holiday, highly recommended and will go again.

Caravan lovely & clean. Sadly too many children running around the van at night kicking the ball under the van & at the car. Complained but staff not interested as they were privately owned vans. Not very dog friendly not allowed in club house just outside. Nothing in caravan for dogs or around the site.

Staff where the best at this park, I remember a time I phoned before reception hours for an enquiry (start at 9) and the receptionist still picked up and was very helpful, Tracey I believe she’s called, brilliant customer service.

Booked coldingham bay for a weeks break as I have many happy memories of going up the east coast as a child and was looking forward to take my own daughter. We arrived late after travelling on a ferry for 2 and half hours and then a 4 and half hr drive checked in just before reception shut. Arrived at the caravan you could already see the door was dirty from the outside. Went inside the beds had pubic hairs and there was also stains on the duvet covers tucked in so we couldn't see them absaloutely disgusting. The microwave had food splatters there was dust everywhere, dirty oven dirty floors toothpaste stains on shelf dirty toilet roll burn marks on carpet. I had to go buy cleaning stuff to clean as I had no choice as reception was now shut. I went to reception next day and was given 40 voucher to spend on site between 3 of us which is a bit pointless as you can't leave your dog in the caravan so how we could sit in and have a meal I don't know ! As the days went by I had dogs off leads running up to my caravan as I was outside with my dog who is very anxious and also a guarding breed so this could have been a disaster my poor dog was very unsettled. There was also an issue with water that site failed to inform us of it took one of the fellow holiday makers to tell me to go take bottled water because of the issue. I took my daughter to the park which only had a tyre swing and a see saw I've never heard my child say she wanted to leave a park so quick I then took her to the arcade and all the was was a couple of 2p machines and a couple of grabber machines safe to say My daughter who is 4 was bored within minutes. I ended up deciding to leave 3 days early as I was so dissapointed with the place and booked a holiday elsewhere no compensation nothing
