Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great couple - very friendly and very accommodating. I arrived late and was greeted by a friendly welcome and a smile and a cheery hello.
The rooms are very clean and fresh, decorated very recently to a very high standard.
Lovely evening meal at the local pub - 3 mins walk from the b&b. Lovely night sleep. and a fantastic breakfast with all the trimmings. set me up for the days diving.

I stayed for 3 nights when working in the area, and could not fault this place. The bed was very comfortable, the room and en-suite were spotless and had a good selection of drinks with the kettle - perfect after a long journey. The owners were very approachable and cooked a lovely breakfast each morning. I was staying for work, but having travelled to the area for diving before, I was pleased to find they have a large heated drying room for dive kit - even if I couldn't make use of it this time! I would not hesitate to book again, hopefully I'll be able to stay for holidays rather than work next time!

We stayed here recently and the facilities are great. If you're a diver, there's everything you need from a dive boat to washing/drying facilities. If you're not a diver, there's still loads to do and the B & B is located in the heart of Coldingham and only a mile and a bit from St. Abbs. The owners were really friendly and knowledgeable about the area which was helpful as this was our first trip to St. Abbs. This is a great place for walkers as well as divers. The B & B itself is spacious and very clean, with excellent facilities such as lounge area, garden and patio, off street parking and drying facilities. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for divers and non-divers alike.

Thanks Paul and Dawn for an amazing weekend. The rooms were spotless as ever and it was great to have a trip on the boat sight seeing.

The is one of the friendliest B & B's we have ever stayed in.

See you in October!

Stayed one night on way south to pick up family nearby. Lovely twin room overlooking the front. Very comfortable bed. Friendly owner, huge breakfast. Plenty of parking, would recommend this B&B. Also have a family room if anyone with children wants to visit the beautiful St Abbs beach

Myself, my husband and our two dogs stayed here for four nights on a short break. What a wonderful place for a base to explore the amazing historic surrounding areas. It is home from home with the fabulous friendly hospitality from the owners Dawn & Paul. The house is immaculate with good access and ample parking, the room we had was the first floor family room which had a view over the countryside with patio doors leading onto a small balcony (not for standing/sitting use) which was pleasant as the weather was glorious. The facilities were great with lovely bathroom and good tea/coffee/hot choc making equipment and good TV with free view. The bed was clean comfy and cosy with memory foam mattress which was welcome after a long day exploring. The breakfast each morning was top standard freshly cooked and guaranteed to set you up for the day. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and had a fun time with lots of cuddles off Dawn who is a lovely bubbly fun down to earth person. Both Paul and Dawn make you feel very welcome and a feeling of staying with friends. Sad to leave on our last day but will return and will book a trip on Paul's boat next time, he caters for divers, fishermen and tourist trips from St Abbs around the wonderful coastline. Thank you for a lovely time and nice memories made. Hope to see you soon.

Had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights with my husband. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable with a big, outdoor drying room for dive kit and ample off-road parking. The bed was incredibly comfy so we both had a great night's sleep. It's within easy walking distance of pubs and food and only 5 minutes drive from St Abbs harbour for divers and fishermen. I would not hesitate to go back.

Spent a pleasant overnight stop in Priory View B/B. Car parking available and within easy walking distance of pubs, etc. (Wouldn,t recommend the New Inn pub though, strong greasy smell in pub and tables sticky and not cleaned properly)..
Our room was spacious with ample size en-suite and a comfortable bed. The breakfast next morning was well cooked and presented. Only dislike we had was the plastic table covers. But, all in all a nice stopover.

When I looked at the reviews for Priory View I could not believe that I had stayed at the same place.11 reviews all with the highest grading possible!!! Our room was extremely small and the bathroom was minute. On arrival I felt that they were not bothered about having us, although the lady was far more friendly the next morning.the B&B was extremely clean. The breakfast, if you waned anything other than a cooked breakfast was very poor. There was no fruit or yoghurt at all and Plastic table cloths.!!!
