We visit St Ives every year and enjoy dining in the town but needed to try a change in scene this year so looked for an “out-of-town” option. We were not disappointed with our choice, the Victoria Inn in Perranuthnoe which we found – where else, on TA. Despite the 25 minute taxi ride it was worth it for the...

Stayed for one night earlier this month - rooms are small (which is entirely in keeping with the pub's age) but entirely adequate and with all the amenities one would expect. However it is the location, friendliness of the owners and staff, and most of all the high quality of food (all locally sourced ingredients) which sets this pub with...

The food in this inn in is far above the average food quality of the restaurants I visited so far in Cornwall. Very fesh and good ingredients and wery well spiced. Only the quality of the service can nit quite keep up with the quality of the food.

This is the first time I haven eaten here since it changed hands recently. If I hadn't been told I wouldn't have known. The menu is very similar, certainly for Sunday lunch. As before, the pub was full, but not so much that it feels crowded; a good atmosphere. The welcome is good and friendly, and the service is very...

We were there on Good Friday, as part of a big family lunch. My husband and I had the vegetarian dish (polenta with various accompaniments), which was absolutely delicious but much too small! We are by no means greedy gluttons, but it looked more like a starter to me. We filled up on our niece's garlic bread, and had the...

Have visited this lovely Inn in Perranuthnoe (a small picturesque cornish hamlet) whenever we have holidayed in St Ives and have found the meals there excellent. We have never stayed there overnight but can really recommend the dining experience there.

we had a wonderful lunch here, I'm not a fish lover but I had the battered fish which was beautiful, the batter melted in the mouth. We also went for an evening meal the same week and once again the meal was superb. Friendly efficient staff and a great atmosphere. We will definately dine here again.

The Victoria had recently changed hands and so we were interested to check it out, having enjoyed consistently good food over many years from Stuart and Anna. For those of you who might be concerned that things may not be the same ever again - have no fears. The décor, at least for the moment, remains the same, but more...

We visited for Sunday lunch, having eaten here some time ago but not since the new owners took over. Fully booked with people waiting for tables. A really lovely atmosphere (we had a table booked in the bar). A short wait, but well worth it! We had the roast sirloin and roast pork, absolutely fabulous in every way. We will...

4 of us had a delightful lunch here at the end of a relaxing trip to Porthleven. Recently taken over before Christmas with a nicely balanced Sunday menu. Service was adequate on a busy day. Nice range of suitably gooey deserts and delicious sorbets and ice creams.
