Spent two nights here last weekend. Hotel is in a superb location and is well maintained and appointed. Our standard room (bay view) was very comfortable, and the hotel's reputation for fine dining is fully justified. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. The...More
Obvious high standards throughout our stay. Food absolutely excellent. One change I'd make is the coffee; I suppose for me it's a personal preference. Staff warm and friendly. Room service excellent. WiFi worked in our room. Good to be able to start on a walk...More

Yes, dogs are welcome to stay with you in the rooms. We stayed here with our border terrier. in a garden view room. They even have dog bags in a dispenser in the grounds. A walk along the shore is a must. lots of interesting smells. I would advise against the longer version of the walk to balcary point as you would have to pass through a field of cows who react badly to dogs. We saw a woman being knocked over by the cows. Take your dog to this hotel and have a great time. We did.

It is a lovely secluded bay, forest tracks as well as the gardens, stretch of beach at the back of the hotel, there is also a cliff walk that can be taken from the hotel, no doubt they could supply you with more information.
