We had the great fortune of a return stay, for a couple of nights, and were allocated Room 5. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and everything we needed for our stay. We ate in the restaurant, both evenings, and cannot fault the quality of food, the level of service, or the great value. The staff were under the watchful eye of Wendy, who appeared to have a great happy relationship with her colleagues and customers alike, nothing was a problem, and their attention to detail during these challenging times, ensuring ALL our safety was paramount was so greatly welcomed. Thank you Wendy and all the staff at The Lauriston for a very welcomed/needed short break away......we will for certain be back.....stay safe and well :)

Visited here twice since the shutdown lifted. Nice surroundings and view if you get a seat near the window. Wide choice on main menu with a more limited choice on the set menu, both however offer good value. Food very nice with big portions. Well worth a try.

been to this hotel a few times but disappointed on this visit it is not the cheapest hotel but the room we had was not worth £109 a night first they state on their advert they say daily house keeping but when i asked they said no I had to ask for tea & coffee toilet roll breakfast was served in the bedroom due to corvid could not dine in the resturant at any time didnt like people in the bar if possible forgot spoons for cerial at to go to reception reported toilet seat broken shower was tied with plastic ties very far from what it used to be staff pleasant breakfast was good but a little magazine table in the room to eat it 3 people not enough room curtain linnings were ripped not worth the money sorry

Fantastic meal food was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been any nicer and friendlier will definitely be back excellent place to meet with friends for a meal and drinks can highly recommend the flat iron steak
