Very attractive B&B on the south side of Glasgow close to lots of pubs and restaurants.
I had a single room which was fine and knew it wasn’t en suite (I paid £70 so I can’t complain) so that wasn’t an issue especially as the bathroom was gorgeous and absolutely huge.
The free breakfast is cereal, yogurt, fruit etc so don’t expect a cooked breakfast but I’m not complaining.
One issue I had was I couldn’t get the tv to work as the signal was too low. Oh, well.
Another issue was the parking. The small car park at the front was full so I had to park in the street. As this was a Saturday it wasn’t a problem but in weekdays there are restrictions so I wonder if this would be an issue then.
Anyway, apart from these fairly minor niggles Giffnock Rooms was a good place to stay, especially if you’re visiting the south side.

Booked a family room which was spacious and very clean. Complimentary tea and coffee provided in the room and cereal and toast on offer for breakfast. Free parking outside. Train station is about a five minute walk away and took about 15 mins into Glasgow Central Station . Made to feel very welcome by the owner..would definitely stay again.

Stayed here while attending a wedding in Glasgow. We had three rooms of the B&B for four nights. Jackie and Ronnie are fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere, very clean, and one of the best neighbourhoods. I will be staying here next time in town!

Have stayed here a couple of times now and what an oasis of calm this is.
The rooms are tastefully decorated in white with unusual furnishing akin to something to be found in Ideal Home magazine.
Bedrooms are clean and the beds are very comfy.
The breakfast is very good and the coffee is just fabulous and the hosts Jackie and Ronnie are very hospitable and kind.
The premises are located in the centre of Giffnock, great for public transport as the rail station is 5mins walk away and the bus stops are nearby for a quick trip into Glasgow centre.
Opposite is a parade of shops and great restaurants so you don't even need to go into town.

Myself and my two boys have now stayed here a few times and each time we stay we love it. Jacqueline and Ronnie are fabulous and so hospitable and welcoming. The house is enormous and the rooms are ideal ! The breakfast is delicious , cooked to order and is the most sociable setting you could think of. I highly recommend staying here , just try and avoid going home with your room key still in your trouser pocket ! Lol

My self, my wife, son and daughter and their 3 children stayed there between 2 and 4 days.Jackie and Ronnie, the owners were very friendly and helpful. B&B was modern and extremely clean and tidy, Breakfast was very good and Jackie provided an excellent service. She was ablt to offer people almost anything they wished from full Scottish breakfast to light continental style. Location was near restaurants and local train and bus services if anyone wanted to go into Glasgow. Rooms were large with plenty of space available for storage. Rooms did not have ensuite facilities but this was not perceived as a major problem there were separate toilets and shower rooms, which also had toilets. The whole place was cheery and bright and I would recommend anytime for short stays. Thank you Jackie and Ronnie

We're from America and stayed at the Giffnock B&B in September of 2014. What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm. We didn't want to leave. The location was close to the park and motorway. Miss Jackie is the proprietor and extremely hospitable. Her breakfasts were prepared with us at her table with a gorgeous cup of tea. When we return we will be staying there again.

I spent one night at the Giffnock B&B. It's a beautiful property, very comfortable and great facilities. The rooms are very big and very clean as were the bathroom facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The service from the B&B owner was fantastic, she text me on the day to ask if I needed anything for arrival so everything was set up for me getting there. There is a parade of shops across the road and the train station is a two minute walk around the corner connecting you to the city centre for sightseeing. I will definitely be returning on future visits to Glasgow.

You would need to ask, but I'd be surprised if you could as they have a dog themselves.
