We came across this Hotel after leaving Skye early due to a storm potentially causing issues there. From doing a very last minute booking online to when we left the next day, everything was fantastic. A special mention to Sam in the Restaurant who is a credit to the Business. He may still only be young but he goes over and above what anyone would expect and he clearly as a great future ahead of him. The Restaurant is stunning with amazing view of Loch Ness. Dinner and Breakfast were both great and the quality was far better than one could have hoped. The Clansman really is a Jewel in the area and we are glad that we had to cut our Skye visit short. Very best wishes

From the moment I booked the customer service was outstanding. We had never travelled so far, they received a lot of queries from myself and replied almost right away. Once there we were upgraded to a cottage as there was one empty, at no extra fee, the cottage was absolutely gorgeous and a view of the loch… couldn’t believe our luck! The meals and restaurant staff were lovely and would go above and beyond for us. We want to say a huge thankyou to Ula and team, you made our stay a memorable one. Xx

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Did not want to leave. The staff and manager were all very lovey and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a nice clean modern bathroom. Great shower with good water pressure. Our room has a beautiful view over Loch Ness. The restaurant serves delicious food for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is in a great location for sight seeing along Loch Ness and the highlands. Just across the road from boat tours that take you around the Loch. I found the place very good value for money considering the high level of customer service, view from the room, quality of restaurant and location. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Myself and my husband stayed at this hotel for our first wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The views over Loch Ness are absolutely stunning as was the food! I would highly recommend the scrambled eggs at breakfast and for dinner there were so many delicious things we ate I’d recommend anything… we had the venison, steak, chicken, salmon, cheese board all cooked beautifully and even better with a glass of champagne. We had a Loch View room which was big enough and the king size bed was very comfy! The locally brewed beers were a big hit with my husband who downed more than a few Crusader lagers chased by some well selected whiskies according to his taste. Aside from all of this, the reason we will definitely be returning is the staff. You could never hope to meet a more caring, friendly and fun group of people. Nothing is too much trouble and thanks to their local knowledge we had a great time exploring all the surroundings had to offer including some spectacular hidden gems! Anu and the team are absolute legends- 5 star team!!! Cannot thank them enough for a wonderful stay.

Our dining experience at the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel Restaurant left us with mixed feelings. While the staff's demeanor left something to be desired—being less than overly nice—the food more than made up for it. My spouse opted for the daily soup, fries, and cheese bread, which he found to be satisfying and flavourful. As for me, I indulged in the Venison trio, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight. The flavors were exquisite, and I highly recommend it to anyone dining at the restaurant. For dessert, we decided to share the sticky toffee pudding and the banoffee cake. Both desserts were exceptional, but the sticky toffee pudding stole the show—it was hands down the best we've ever had, and we make a point to try it wherever it's on the menu. Despite the somewhat lackluster service, we were able to enjoy a lovely view over the lake, adding to the overall ambiance of the meal.

Had a brilliant stay at the Clansman hotel, staff were lovely and went the extra mile! We were there for my boyfriend's birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable for him! The food was amazing and couldn't fault the service in the bar or restaurant at both breakfast and dinner time. The hotel has amazing views over the loch and it's so easy to access the loch cruises from the hotel also. Definitely will be back!

This appeared to be a hotel specializing in coach-tour parties and being mid-October when we were there, the hotel was very quiet and had an end of season feel. Our room was OK but the hot water was scolding and the mirror light didn't work (both reported to reception). There is no lift (except one for the disabled) and carrying two suitcases up to the second floor wasn't the best introduction. Lovely views across the Loch and a good dinner. However, at breakfast we were served a ready-mix porridge - come on, this is Scotland, it should be home made!

Great spot - right across the road from Loch Ness tour. Older buildings but clean & restaurant has amazing views over Loch. Restaurant has nice varied menu & breakfast was quick & had a good selection. Only thing BF does not start till 8. Hotel has large gift shop, with better prices than we had seen. But the best part was the lovely , attentive staff. Couldn't be more helpful & frIendly from checkin to wait staff. They are to be commended. Gold star !!

What an amazing hotel. We booked 1 night the day before arrival because of a poor choice of hotel in Inverness. The best decision we have made. After a cruise on Loch Ness we checked in. Every member is staff that we have come across has been amazing. They are a credit to the hotel. We had a beautiful dinner at the restaurant at a table overlooking the Loch. So special! Everything about our stay has been amazing. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.
