We stayed at Orchard House for our first ever trip to Scotland, which was an ideal location to take in The Open golf at Muirfield and various attractions of Edinburgh. The landlady, Anne, was the perfect hostess, with her local knowledge and friendly conversation - always willing to advise the best ways to get to your destination for the day....

Especially choose Orchard House behave of some boutique hotel websites. There was no doubt, this was the one. We stayed 2 nights to visit Rosslyn chapel, which is close, and the Borders ( for the Abbeys ). The Orchard is located in Rosewell and although that's very close to Edinburgh the B&B is on large own grounds and in the...

We spent a very comfortable night with Anne recently - she is welcoming and very accommodating, the bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the setting is what i would call a cosy hideaway - its peaceful, in the country and somewhere you relax immediately - a special place.

We stayed here for one night on a recent driving holiday in Scotland. We decided to stop off on route to Edinburgh to visit Rosslyn Chapel, Orchard House is just a couple of miles from there. However, if you plan to visit Edinburgh it is also within easy reach, in fact I would have happily stayed here another night compared...
