My second time on a painting holiday Manzac des Bas with Louise and Giles. The whole ambience of the gites, the location, the delicious food, wine. The daily trips out to paint in stunning locations then Giles arrives with an amazing picnic incredibly civilised and perfect. My big birthday with the group we were served champagne lunch and a magnificent day of food, wine, fun and laughter I could not have asked for more and never expected such celebrations. Thank you both I will return and recommend you to all my friends. Xx Norah Stocker

Louise and Giles were the perfect hosts, .making the painting group feel very welcome and assisting us in all our daily needs,. The food was plentiful and Louise was a brilliant cook. i looked forward to the meal times and the welcome drinks before dinner. The accommodation was very comfortable and plenty of perfect spots to relax around the property, including a swimming pool and games to play. We of course, were staying in Manzac for a painting holiday. There was a well equipped, light art studio which looked out at beautiful views including the Pyrenees and fields. Giles arranged magnificent trips around the area and a visit to an interesting colourful Sunday market.. So there was plenty for us to paint and draw throughout our one week stay, which ended too soon. If you want to go on a painting holiday with good views, delicious food and comfortable accommodation Manzac d'en Bas is the place to go.

Louise and Giles were fantastic hosts, welcoming, superb food and excellent accommodation and art facilities. Louise excelled in the cuisine - every meal a delight! Trips out all well organised. The buildings are situated on a hill with marvellous views, particularly of the Pyrenees in the distance across green fields, woodlands and hills. Swimming pool was fun as were the wealth of different dining spots around the grounds. Highly recommended.
