Have recently been on a painting holiday to this wonderful place. Beautiful views and so peaceful and relaxing. Giles and Louise looked after us so very well. Food was amazing all freshly cooked by Louise and Giles went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would certainly reccomend this place to our friends and would love to...

This is the most fabulous place for a holiday for whatever reason. I took a group of painters to Manzac d'en Bas for the 4th time and the experience gets better and better. So many beautiful places to visit and paint. There is the most spectacular panoramic view across to the Pyrenees, a big swimming pool, a studio to die...

Quite exceptional scenery which one could gaze at every day at different times and be thrilled. We painted in a different unspoilt spot each day in one of the local towns or in the light and airy studio. The swimming pool area was lovely and Giles and Louise were the most perfect hosts. How Louise produced stunning meal after meal...

Just completed a 7 day trip to Manzac, what a delight. The location is second to none. If you want uninterrupted views of the Pyrenees, this place is for you. If you want peace and quiet, again , you have it. If you want fabulous food and carefree painting opportunities, again, you have it. We went to a new venue...

We returned this summer for another (?4th) trip to Manzac. We rarely repeat holidays, so this is a sign of how highly we rate it! As has repeatedly been said, the accommodation is top class - with views to match. The hosts, Giles and Louise, are on hand and happy to help with anything you might need. Their knowledge of...

We spent a week here in August, self-catering, with our four children aged 15, 13, 11 and 6. The gite itself was beyond our expectations - very spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished and clean. The views across the garden, over the valley and with the mountains in the background were stunning. The pool was perfect, clean and with plenty of loungers/seats...

Staring with the view from the house - which is wonderful - it just got better. Great food, lovely company, nice room, fantastic studio, no rush, no hassle, just a great time. And SO quiet. Hard to see how it could be improved.

I attended an art tutorial week at Manzac in August/September 2016. I was delighted with my accommodation and especially the comfortable bed as I have a bad back. It was also the coolest room, being north facing and downstairs. I know fans were thoughtfully available in other rooms. There was plenty of hot water and good shower. I was on...

Just returned from my first painting holiday and it exceeded all my expectations. I don't know how it could have been any better. Giles and Louise are perfect hosts. I could repeat everything that previous reviewers have said but instead I just urge you to visit and see for yourself. Go for it - you won't regret it !

I think the title of my review speaks for itself. Giles & Louise greeted us like long-lost friends, and their usual hard work and attention to detail throughout ensured another memorable holiday. Gite accommodation is unsophisticated compared with a modern hotel, but the rooms at Manzac are comfortable, and have all the necessary facilities, including broadband. A continental breakfast was...
