A wonderful place to relax und forget about big city life in Accra. It is so nice to swim in the lagoon, forget about time under the palm trees and have such amazing meals around the clock. The rooms are beautiful, the garden lush green and all hang out areas super cute. The staff is amazing!

Meet Me There was a wonderful and tranquil experience! The food was great, the environment was great, the staff was great and even the owner was great! I love what they are doing with the business model - they teach the children from the community and continue to use profits to build the community around them. Kudos to MMT and I would recommend this place to ANYONE! I will definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food is really good. Quiet location, yet easy to get from Accra to meet me there and to go back. We really enjoyed our time at the lodge.

Meet Me There is such a gem! From the time that you arrive you are greeted with a friendly staff. The food, the service, the property are A+. We always felt safe and we always felt that we were taken care of. Everything here is reasonably priced. We visited when it wasn’t too hot so we didn’t have any issues with there being no AC. Note that there is no Wi-Fi, no hot water, no AC and no TV’s. You are told this prior to booking so this will come as no surprise if you decide to visit. We also did the Volta River cruise and it we loved it. My only concern was that the bed was hard. We were there for a few days so it wasn’t that big of an issue. However, I wouldn’t let this stop me from visiting this wonderful place! The final note is that we did not have cellular service. We knew there was no Wi-Fi, but was expecting our phones to work. We are from the US and I don’t know if that made the difference. Once we got to the Volta region, the cellular service was working intermittently, but nothing reliable or predictable.

We absolutely loved this place! A truly beautiful setting, the loveliest staff, delicious food (we ate breakfast lunch and dinner there) and just idyllic. Plus, it’s an eco lodge (solar panels, composting toilets, all local food, etc) and a social enterprise, with profits going straight into their local NGO, Dream Big Ghana. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more relaxing stay! Will definitely come back again.

Meet Me There Dzita Eco tourism with big dreams 886225960 It’s our first time in Ghana, we arrived in Accra and two days later TT arrived to drive us East to “Meet Me There”. The reviews online were incredible and as a teacher I was particularly interested in the NGO part too. They offer a free tour of their work outside the resort. You can check out my short reel to see a small part of this. We booked the Sunrise Suite with swim up decking, I actually cried when we first arrived because the room was so beautiful with a perfect view across the lagoon to the sand dunes and palm trees. Just over the dunes in the Gulf Of Guinea and wow, at night the sound of waves turning is powerful and bewitching. The room was immaculate, cleverly laid out to maximise the view and provide neat shelves, hanging etc for clothes. Collins, our greeter was an absolutely lovely young man who checked in us and took care of us during our stay. The bathroom complete with compost toilet (2 scoops of sawdust every time) was so clean and never smelled. The shower was partially outdoors with only a palm tree above which meant the room did not get damp or smell stuffy. Each room comes with locally made black soap as part of the charity. When we arrived we were taken to the communal thatched games/relaxation space and given the most delicious hibiscus and ginger juice, this carrying on throughout. The kitchens are partially open and you can see the staff preparing and cooking. All so immaculate and not only is the food presented on gorgeous locally made pottery, it is stunning, home made but high end feasting! The red red and rice, the baobab pancakes, chicken and Jollof rice, the brownie with coconut cream, all of it was ridiculously delicious. We don’t drink but the cocktail menu looked amazing and I tucked into my fair share of non alcoholic cocktails, the fire in the belly ginger one being my favourite. I enjoyed two full body massages in the spa with a sea breeze wafting over me, when I asked for deep tissue pressure, I got more than I bargained for, fantastic rejuvenating treatments both times. The effort and love that has gone into “Meet Me There” is in every brush stroke, every bit of planting, every meal, yoga class, meal, everything but the most important part is the ngo work. We visited their community school and shop, children of local fishermen can go there and read or have music class etc then Christian took us on the tour of the sanitation work they do, installing hygienic sanitation blocks in schools one by one. (See my reel of this work) we also meet three fantastic women running a tiny local medical service, a nurse, midwife and pharmacist looking glowing in green at the end of my reel. You can support their work by donating through their website.

Meet me there is an absolutely amazing place! The staff are some of the friendliest people we have come across in Ghana, and they make brilliant cocktails. The setting is stunning , with views of the beach and a salt water lagoon ( which you can swim in ). The seating area , that looks out over the lagoon is a great place to wind down with a cocktail. The food was delicious every night , we tried almost everything on the menu and were never disappointed. The scrambled egg breakfast was to die for ! To top it all off, the profits all go to the NGO , dream big foundation which provides sanitation and education to the local community. We can’t thank Frank and the team enough for everything !
