My Wife and I regularly fly fish for Salmon and we visit the River Tay and stay in a self catering cottage in Meikleour area if we stay for a week and we eat in the Meikleour Arms once or twice during that time . If we only stay fo 1 or 2 days we would book the Meikleour Arms...

Popped in for some drinks. A lot of refurbishment going on just now so no actual bar, however we sat in dining area. Staff seemed a bit confused by our order of two drinks - asked 3 times! Once the work is finished I'd certainly like to come back as it looks like it will be nice!

We were looking for a quiet corner to relax and we found it at Meikleour. Not far from Dunkeld and Blairgowrie. The Meikleour Arms Hotel website said that food and drink would be served in the "stunning oak framed dining room while our bar is being upgraded." In reality the Meikleour Arms is undergoing and extensive refurbishment and extensions work....

The better half and I spent 2 nights here at Hogmanay. We were in one of the new holiday cottages on the estate, only a short walk from the pub itself. The cottage itself is immaculate and well appointed. Modern fittings and fixtures throughout but with a small woodburner in the living area. Dogs welcome if well behaved! Very comfortable...

I chose the Meikleour Arms as a special treat for a birthday present for my partner who is in his late 70’s. We had passed the hotel a number of times over the years and my partner had said that he would like a meal there one day. Too far to go for an evening meal and then drive home,...

Dear P9C9C May I offer my sincere apologies for your disappointing stay with us. we are under some major renovations at this time and we've tried to minimize the disturbance to all our guests, However I completely understand that you felt let down. My first visit here, entoutevto Dunkeld. Mr C always raves about this place and i wasn't disappointed. Great tasty lunch. Scotch egg with blackpudding, Mushroom soup, and a large tasty sandwich. Friendly staff, popular with visitors and locals. A lot of renovation work being done, will be fantastic when finished. Will be back;)

My good pal put me up for a few days and his family were kind enough to take me to this wee cosy pub surrounded by fabulous country side. The staff were nothing but friendly and the food was of a high quality. I would recommend the whitebait which comes with a tasty garlic aioli. Also the leek and Brie...

Following a recommendation on the Landrover Experience site we chose Meikleour Arms Hotel to stay; “Super-King-Superior-Ensuite with Bath & Walk-in Shower “. The room its self was lovely and ideal for a couple wishing to stay 2 or 3 nights. Each day all the refreshments were replenished in the room. The only recommendation I would make is that the upstairs...

Lovely cosy warm bar, log burner giving out a radiant heat to the bar area so if you need a quick warm up get close until your toast ! Couple of real ales on the go and dogs are allowed. Great stuff. Did not stay in the hotel or have anything to eat, but it is obvious there are plans...
