19 of us, from three families spent a wonderful one night stay 29th Dec with evening meal and breakfast. The staff were wonderful, they couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our meals were delicious and the service just lovely. Each room was individual in its décor but all very clean and comfortable, bed and bedding felt like sleeping on a cloud! We will definitely be back for our annual clan gathering. Thank you!

Having stayed here once before, this was the obvious choice when we were going to be in the area once more.

We were only able to book a Cosy Room online but were swiftly upgraded to a very pleasant Standard Room on arrival.

The room and bathroom were both perfectly clean and had everything we could need including lovely, starched sheets, soft towels, adjustable radiator and much much more.

The bar was cosy and welcoming for pre dinner drinks including house champagne by the glass - not often available.

Good menu. Wide range of choices.
Food arrived quickly.

Breakfast was excellent.

Throughout our stay, every member of staff we met was friendly, smiling and helpful. Thank you and well done.

Maybe the windows could do with a clean!

I have just held 3 days of meetings for senior members of my team at The Queens, with the meetings in the fabulous Lodge and with very comfortable accommodation and excellent food and service at the Queens Arm pub. Freddie and his team were incredibly attentive and delivered a great experience such that I would strongly recommend this as a location for meetings in the new world we live in - or just a great place to stay and eat if on holiday or passing through the area. 10/10

What a tremendous find. We booked a night with dinner, bed and breakfast on a friend's recommendation and were put up in the incredibly comfortable and luxurious Wishing Well room. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming to us and our dogs and they looked after our party brilliantly even as the pub was hosting a Burns Night supper for the locals. We even got to join in the Scottish dancing and ate haggis! Breakfast was freshly cooked and faultless and we all went off with a spring in our step. Thoroughly recommended with or without the extra entertainment

We returned to the Queen's Arms with our French Bulldog and stayed in the "Many Clouds" room in the annex, very clean and tidy as usual. The restaurant meal in the evening was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning with more than enough options. The staff are all very professional and nothing is too much trouble and they really love dogs - the poop bags in the garden are a great touch

Went for lunch today and was completely blown away by the Queens arms.
Really friendly greeting and Freddie the owner of the pub is so welcoming.
We had some of the crispy squid to start and also the shared bread and olives which is so far above your average bread board. A lovely selection of different breads including amazing butters and a great brioche loaf.
We all had burgers which were sensational. Great portions and a perfectly cooked patty with all the usual works!
Such an enjoyable first lunch back out of lockdown and cannot wait to go back.
Should also say COVID precautions very well done.
Thank you!

Excellent place to stay very close to Lambourn if visiting stables. Our room (The Wishing Well) was great with huge jacuzzi bath, separate shower, heated towel rails, sofa, fridge, hospitality tray etc. On coldest night of the year heating was very effective and bed was very comfortable.

We had dinner which was good value and there is an excellent wine list. Breakfast was freshly cooked and of the highest standard.

Staff very helpful and attentive. Will certainly return.

We spent three nights in this superb venue for a family wedding. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the beds very comfortable and the shower was extremely powerful. And as for the food, we could tell by the tasty dinner that we were in for a treat at breakfast! The whole experience was rounded off with friendly and professional staff.

The owner of this pub absolutely ruined my wedding day.
We had a small wedding at the registry office with a meal after at the queens arms. We originally planned to stay in the garden room all night but my sister had surprised us with hiring a hall. My sister is not from the area so when she had an idea of doing something special she rang the pub to see what they could do.
The staff at the pub said to speak to the owner who could give her the details of a hall nearby.
My sister spoke to the pub several times about the day and what she had planned. My best friend even went in that morning and spoke to the staff so they would have all been aware of the plans.
My husband paid for the room fee for all day even though we only had our meal there. When my friend went back later that evening to collect some platters she was belittled and humiliated when the owner started shouting at her telling her that they had lost money because they were had left. My friend then had a panic attack in her car after as she was all by herself.
When my husband raised this issue via email it was all blamed on my sister saying that she should've made the pub aware of our plans. They clearly did know because they gave her the recommendation for the hall.
I will absolutely NOT EVER return and this is one of the memories from my wedding day. I urge people not to go here unless they want abuse shouted at them by the owner.
All the bar staff and he's and Tanya who both myself and my sister arranged the day with were absolutely brilliant and it's such a shame it was ruined by A vile human being that happened to be the owner.

We took our sons here for a special 21st birthday meal and it was perfect, for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. The restaurant decor and staff service is top-notch but relaxed without being stuffy. Good wine list too. Highly recommended.
