Upon arrival we were shown to our room and within minutes we noticed two large spiders above the bed on the ceiling and many thick cobwebs hanging down. We notified the pleasant young girl in the bar who asked a gentleman to assist in the removal, however, due to the ceiling being so high, he was unable to reach them....

After visiting this pub for the last two years I have never really been disappointed. I had one of my stag evenings there with 8 mates on 3/7/15 and we had preordered 2 seafood platters for 4 people. There was some confusion as they thought we had orders 4 platters for the group. No problem -two of my mates changed...

We didn't eat at the Bull although we've done so before and enjoyed it. Booked two rooms, one double, one twin to attend a local event. On arrival, after a strange, irritating check in experience we were shown to two rooms, both twin, one of which was uncleaned from the previous guests. As this was a 4pm and we were leaving...

Stayed as a pit stop on the way to Somerset. Got a great deal through Expedia and was not disappointed. The rooms are in the garden and very spacious and comfortable. The bar is lovely with local Ales and ciders on offer. Arrived too late for food unfortunately, but the menu looked good nonetheless. Highly recommended.

Just stopped here after a few hours of geo caching. It is a lovely pub in beautiful surroundings. We just had a pint and lime and soda which came to over £7 for the round. I'm not sure how pubs can charge £2.50 for lime and soda, but there you go. The pub is in need of a refurb. When...

We stayed here last Sunday night, in terms of value for money I have to say it is pretty good. The pub is very nice and worth a visit if you are in the area. Our room for the night was fine but could do with a makeover. It had a door connecting with the next room which could do...

We were a group of seven, five adults and two young children. We had a variety of lunches and we all enjoyed them, great choice from generous baguettes, veggie lasagne, roast to a very good sized child's dinner of fish and chips. All food was Desserts were great too. Great service too. We had visited a farm with the children,...
