I've been there so many time, the hotel has wifi, hot water shower, energy electric, energy backup, parking lot. The breakfast is also included. The room is quite comfortable. A/C is not included, but you don't really need it because the weather is great in the nights (which means that at nights it gets cold.

There are not many places in Nicaragua to take the camping gear off the backpack and put up the tent. But El Pantano came as a real surprise - a backpacking campers dream coming true! Set on a wide green space, surrounded by some cute sheep and two friendly cows, trees with lots of birdlife above, and a climate which...

The hotel has several cabanas in a huge, quiet park at the southern end of Jalapa - a real oasis. It is perfectly placed as a starting point to excursions (recommendation: Finca San Antonio!) and offers good dinner meals and a lot of space.

Stayed two nights at Hotel Pantano in March 2016. Hotel was clean & comfortable with nice breakfast. Owner provided great information on activities in the area. Really liked the hike through a close by mountain finca (Finca San Antonio). Guide was very informative. Got to see how they produce coffee and fruits on steep hillsides. Guide picked fresh fruit for...

The entire property was like an oasis. The students were pleasantly surprised to find that there were plenty of showers and hot water available. We stayed for 13 nights, and it became our home! We could not have accomplished the preschool rebuild in Chusli without having a comfortable and safe place to return to, each evening. Any part of Jalapa...
