I am from India and I have stayed here for for for more than 200 days and I would say they are the best host we can ever get.I have even self isolated here as the lock down began during my course of stay but even in critical scenarios I have never felt that I was stuck in abroad rather felt like a nice home and with a wonderful Family who had taken of me like their own family member.
This place is wonderful with ample amount of space and privacy and a proper choice if you are looking for quick family or friends get together over the weekend or any business travel.
Guest will have the kitchen access so if you are fancy to cook, you will have all amenities readily available.
4-5 bus stops are there within 100 mtr radius so public transportation is not a problem.

We stayed 3 nights at the stunning 17th Century Lyne House and, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we were made extremely welcome by Marilyn and Meredith. We were treated like extended members of the family and nothing was too much trouble. We slept well on the comfortable mattresses in spite of the extreme heat. Breakfast in the courtyard was a delight and tranquil. Marilyn has a wealth of interesting facts and local information. There is a bus stop immediately outside the House which takes about 20 minutes to Oxford. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves catching up with family and would recommend!

We had such an amazing weekend at Lyne House. The hosts were so accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had the best time. On arrival, the bride to be (we were on a hen do) was welcomed with a box of chocolates, prosecco and a tray of handmade cakes to celebrate - a lovely touch!
The house itself was full of character, you instantly felt at home. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The hot tub was great fun and there are lots of things to do in the local area (we went on a nice walk along the canal). Would definitely recommend staying here!

This is not my first stay at Lyne house and it definitely won’t be my last. Every time I arrive It feels like my second home and I am welcomed like family by Marilyn and Meredith. This weekend we had a friends getaway to celebrate a birthday and honestly it was magical - they created a true dream come true. From homemade rusks in bed in the morning and a bohemian picnic in the bell tent in the garden, to a 4-course catered candlelit dinner and a sunny final afternoon of wine and hummus in the courtyard - every corner of Lyne house is a new haven waiting to be discovered. Can’t wait until my next visit.

We stayed at Lyne House for my friend’s hen do and I can’t put into words how incredible our stay was. Marilyn and Meredith were exceptional hosts - they went above and beyond to make our weekend special and welcomed us as family. The house is full of history, with gorgeous wood carvings and spacious rooms. The jacuzzi was a big hit and cooking together in the open plan kitchen was extra special.

I will definitely return and I highly recommend a stay at this gorgeous home. Proximity to Oxford is excellent - perfect if you want to explore, but also want a relaxing break. Every minute spent at Lyne House was incredible.

Thank you Marilyn and Meredith for the perfect weekend!

I spent three nights at Lyne House, a b and b built in the 1600s in Kidlington, very near Oxford. The spacious, period, en-suite bedroom was very comfortable, the full breakfast was available when requested and the hospitality of Meredith and Marilyn, the owners, went beyond what I expected. There is a lot to do in the area as Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Woodstock are a short bus ride away. Or walk down the canal, which is close to Lyne House.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed two nights at Lyne Guest House. We loved learning about the history of the location from our friendly hosts Marilyn and Meredith! The whole house was comfortable and beautiful! It was exactly what I hoped to stay in while we were there instead of a cookie cutter modern place! The breakfasts were tasty and tailored to our tastes. Marilyn and Meredith were happy to help with pub suggestions and we enjoyed just chatting with them in the sitting room over a glass of wine! We would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend Lyne Guest House!

Lyne House sits in its own little oasis in the heart of the small town of Kidlington, Oxfordshire. Once inside this rather quaint and cosy house you feel shielded from the outside world.
Marilyn gave us the warmest of welcomes. Recommended.

We stayed at this house as a group of 9 adults for a hen party. The venue was just perfect.

Marilyn's communication and support was brilliant in the lead up to the stay. Including offering us advice and support on things to do locally.

When we arrived she made us so welcome. The property was stunning. It was Spacious, charming and perfect for our group size. There was space for parking. The bedrooms were all beautiful and so comfortable- the standard was so high and i was impressed with all the amenities in each room. We were impressed with the en-suites in all rooms.

The hot tub and music facilities were also great for our stay. We certainly made use of these!

We had the best time at the venue and would highly recommend this for families, friends or hen parties!!

I have stayed at Lyne House several times over the years. Marilyn and Meredith are always incredibly accommodating and provide a uniquely serene home to stay at, within a stone's throw of Oxford.

The house is beautiful and the bedrooms are wonderfully furnished. It's also the perfect base to explore the city, and the rail links make it really easy to get to Lyne House if you don't have a car.

I can't wait until my next stay!
