Stayed here for two nights as part of a Malaysian honeymoon tour. Hotel is clean and tidy and because it was our honeymoon the room maids kept leaving origami towel foldings, which was a nice touch. Although the hotel is nice, there is not much in the way of entertainment in the evenings and the town is a five minute... More

To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, we decided to spend our time together at the Resort as we feel that the Resort setting/surroundings was most appropriate. It was the perfect decision, as from the time we arrived to the time we checked out, we received nothing but best and most caring service by the staff. Service was excellent throughout our... More

I really like the heritage of this hotel especially the British colonial architecture and style. The room was excellent, maintained but a bit too old. With this rate, they can do better by providing branded bottle body wash & shampoo instead of dispensable units & the toilet is small. Meanwhile, we enjoy most on The Jim Thompson trail walk as... Cameron Highland, a resort was developed in British colonial era. Most of the new constructions in this area, are copying the British Construction outside view, forming the special characteristic of this area. About 17c to 25c temperature all year round, with cool weather and fertile soil, flowers and fruit trees well-growth here. Most of the Malaysian likes to visit this... More

Food poisoning last week drained me of all my energy. I lost 3 kilos in the process and wore a path in the hardwood floor between my bed and the bathroom. No fun!!!! I needed a break. I needed some time to re-coup and just relax. So Friday I drove the three hours up to the Cameron Highlands. The Cameron... More

My family had a wonderful time. The hotel is impeccable and service is excellent. Special mention to the manager of this hotel. In all my years of travelling all over the world, I have never met a manager that is so down to earth and hands-on. I recall one morning I was having breakfast, the restaurant was pretty full and... Although the place looks pretty enough it needs a bit of an upgrade, especially when it comes to service. They bank far too much on their old worldly atmosphere and the bit of England that confuses the hell out of your senses up high in the Malaysian mountains. The pretty surroundings make up for it though. As a whole, the... More

Couldn't fault the hotel at all, great service, good menu choice in the formal dining restaurant, good breakfast again plenty of choice, rooms to a good standard. The steam boat restaurant is worth trying with good staff to explain what you need to do if you're never eaten in one of these before. Spa was very good and worth treating... More

An old fashioned colonial hotel beautifully appointed and luxurious, very much reflecting how life would have been in these days when the British were there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and although the drinks were expensive the ambience of the ounce made up for it. The hotel looked particularly lovely as it was all decorated for ChristmasWe... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set amidst tea plantations and rolling hills, this boutique hideaway promises all the splendour, romance and nostalgia of Cameron Highlands’ grand colonial heritage.Tall French doors, timber-beamed ceilings and plantation shutters add colonial charm and a touch of nostalgia to our rooms.Enjoy a refreshing round of golf, a pink-cheeked ramble along jungle trails, or a leisurely walk through tea plantations and strawberry farms. To recover, you can have a cup of tea in the drawing room, or a tea bath at the Spa Village, or you may simply choose to spend the day curled up with a good book by the fireplace.Cameron Highlands Resort is situated on the largest hill retreat in Malaysia, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, lush greenery, rolling hills and Tudor-styled cottages. The luxurious boutique Resort features 56 beautifully-appointed rooms and suites, and fronts Cameron Highlands' 18-hole golf course. It also houses the third wellness centre of the award-winning Spa Village group, which offers exotic treatments focusing on the healing and restorative properties of tea. Located in the state of Pahang, approximately 200 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands is a beautiful holiday destination and the only place where you can find tea plantations and strawberries in Malaysia. At about 1,500 metres above sea level, it is the highest area on the mainland and enjoys a cool climate and fresh air, with temperatures ranging between 15° and 25° Celsius. Much of the character of the highlands remains unchanged since colonial times. It is endearingly known to some as the 'little corner of England in Asia'. The cool climate on the picturesque plateau and its surrounding hills and forest make this a popular retreat for golfing, jungle trekking and exploration of the many plantations and gardens. Cameron Highlands Resort is ideal all year round for families, honeymooners and holidaymakers out to satiate their appetites for trails, tales and tradition. ... more   less
