Must say the staff behind the bar were very helpful. However the rooms were adequate but very cold for this time of the year. We were a large party of 11 & had supper in bar area (which was a shame that we weren't put in the back area) on Saturday night, as this was very noisy. More importantly we...

I have just revisited The Seaview Restaurant and found the menu has changed to the winter menu. I had a job to choose which lunch I wanted especially as they had lamb shanks. Anyway, as the weather was mild I chose the flaky pastry chicken and mushroom pie, it came with boiled potatoes, green beens cauliflower and mashed Swede all...

The location is lovely and the staff were really friendly, however, the rooms were very grubby and in dire need of an update and a good bottle of bleach. The owners just need to don the marigolds and tick off a checklist on a clipboard - nothing too major.

Well, what a fabulous find. Taken here on a visit to friends, who live in the area. Busy, friendly and dog-friendly hotel/pub which is a wonderful haven for the locals and those in the know. Fabulous pub food and so reasonably priced. Good portions and lovely limited choice which was perfect.Friendly polite staff and was full on a Thursday lunchtime....

Well despite the somewhat bizarre reviews, we decided to try The Seaview albeit with fear and trepidation. Clearly, the place has had a face lift since our last visit and is much better for it. The menu was more than adequate and there were a few specials on the board. We chose sandwiches in the end and were delighted to...

A friend who I was doing the challenge with booked this hotel and tbh, all we wanted was a clean decent room to get our head down In, after toasting our 50km challenge success - at a reasonable price. Price - extremely good for a bank holiday weekend and room was indeed clean. However..... Only one choice of bottled lager...

Found this little gem by accident! Great choice of food and drink and great little sun trap and so close to the beach! Seemed busy! Was under new management and they seemed lovely, think her name was nicola? All staff very friendly! Can't wait for a return visit!

As we live in the area, we really wanted this pub to be our "local". The pub has a great location and a lovely beer garden. However - consistent with other reviews on TripAdvisor - after many years of experiencing a lack of customer service and lack of engagement from the staff, we have finally given up and started to...

I have posted this review many times and not been added. I visited a while back and witnessed a member off staff go above and beyond her duty. I witnessed her sign language to a young disabled boy and his mother. The picture on this young lads face was an amazing view. The fact this lady (debbie i managed to...
