This place was simply very very nice: a place a few miles away was closed, so we drove on and came across this: now we have a choice within the area, so that worked out well. The good old limited choice set menu was excellent and the service likewise: we'll return, what more is there to say! Nice little town...

We stayed at the hotel whilst we were house hunting in the area so it was a great base. The staff we all very helpful and even though my french isn't the best and English is a little light on the ground I can only compliment all the staff for their helpfulness.The rooms are basic, but they are immaculately clean...

We stayed here overnight, a great little place in the town centre. Rooms a bit dated now however ideal for our needs, clean and pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel secure parking included.

Just in the heart of the little town of Mortain, on top of the hill and looking at the relevant Church which share same important architecture. This family managed hotel is a lovely surprise. Rooms are vintage,not so large but clean and in good enough maintenance with some old pictures, recalling the local history and events. The inhouse restaurant has...

Went back twice this visit to Normandy to the Hotel de la Poste. To our surprise they accept dogs both on the terrasse and inside (as it was too hot outside on that day). Great service, with a lovely setting on the terrasse, and inside beautifully set tables - impeccable! We will become regulars I'm sure when we buy our...
