When they left the farm we done a deal for me to buy the caravan with the decking stairs from TED the previous owner whom ive known for at least 25 years. i was told it had to be removed from the farm, which was my intention anyway, and on the day of removing the caravan I STATED VERY CLEARLY, THAT I WOULD RETURN FOR THE OTHER ITEMS AND THE DECKING STAIRES WHICH NEEDED TO BE TAKEN APART TO TAKE IT AWAY. THAT WAS ALL IN ORDER BY THE FARMER, INFACT I EVEN OFFERED TO CLEAN ALL THE CARPETS IN THERE BUSINESS FOR FREE AS A WAY OF SAYING THANKS FOR GIVING ME TIME TO HAVE IT REMOVED. Well i called in to Wennington Farm Saturday 18/07/2020, to collect all the rest of my property and was told very rudely to go away as he and DAVE whom rents a unit on his farm to run his company had set fire to it all. Very disappointed these people could do such a horribe act, as this guy DAVE made and sold the decking stairs to Ted so is very aware of its VALUE cost and that it is needed. Before i left i had a look around to see if i could see the burnt remains of there actions, but found nothing at all. so ive no idea if they stole them from me to burn or re sale, but i intend asking the POLICE to help me find that out, and if they did not burn it like he said they did, to return my property. ive written this on here as they do not respond to my phone calls and text messages. WHICH I HAVE KEPT. MY NAME IS KEITH HILL

Really - I can't think of anything better than this relaxed, efficient, warm, welcoming guest house. You can be left alone or cared for as you wish. The owners clearly enjoy their work and take pride in giving a good service. A very peaceful spot.

My partner and I recently visited Wennington Lodge for a night stopover for a family birthday party. We had a wonderful greeting from Lorraine who made us feel very at home immediately. The Lodge is the farmhouse on a working farm and is spacious and extremely well kept. Lorraine showed us into the kitchen for a well needed cup of tea and some biscuit seeking attention from Finlay the dog, who loves everybody. The accomodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean sporting a good sized bedroom with en suite bathroom all looking recently decorated and well fitted out with some nice personal touches. The following morning saw Tom busy at work in the kitchen preparing our breakfast - nobody needs an alarm when woken by the smell of sizzling bacon and eggs, a good start to the day and with it some very pleasant conversation. Altogether a very welcoming experience with charming hosts and a quiet and peaceful setting.

Tom and Lorraine make sure your stay is amazing. They are wonderful hosts, will be around to chat too and laugh with or leave you to your own devices. I felt totally at home here. It's a place I could imagine living. So secluded and set on a farm yet close enough to get to the nearest town. The house is beautiful and cosy. I chose this place for my stay as I'd seen it featured in a magazine and it just looked amazing. It didn't disappoint. It has rustic farmhouse charm with a friendly atmosphere. The rooms are all lovely and the grounds are also beautiful. I highly recommend it as well as Tom's amazing breakfast-that guy knows what to do with an egg! I would reccomend to everyone if you want that relaxing chilled stay in the country with a bit of quirky added in to the mix!

We stayed here the night before Secret Garden Party and it was perfect, so nice to wake up to the sound of birds singing. Tom and Lorraine looked after us perfectly and made us feel very at home. 'The Special' for breakfast was just as yummy as promised! And an extra treat to get to have cuddles with the dog.
