We just stayed for the Easter weekend. The site was really easy to find and has the most outstanding views. We really liked the contactless check in/out as there was no queuing. The site is wonderfully maintained and really rather peaceful. Our van was number 42 and it was spotless on arrival, bedding and towels provided were also spotless. Beds seems to have spring mattresses which are a little uncomfortable to sleep on but ok for a few nights. Kitchen had everything we needed although we only made breakfast in the van each day. Longe had a sofa and two chairs, the sofa had seen better days and was rather saggy in the middle but the chairs were comfortable. The hot tub was warm and checked daily. Would we stay again, yes.

A beautiful, quiet retreat in Cornwall. Kirsten kept in touch prior to arrival and let us know when our caravan was ready for us. The caravan was lovely, clean and had tremendous views. The hot tub was a lovely edition and again it was spotlessly clean and looked after.

Everything inside the caravan was of a good quality, and clean - the heating worked well and it was a real bonus being able to watch Netflix on the odd rainy day.

Thanks for a lovely stay.

We visited as a family of 3 with our little dog and the Caravan was immaculate!

We were a little apprehensive about booking a caravan due to past experience however the standard of accommodation offered was outstanding. The views from each caravan was “insta” worthy and the staff were so friendly.

What I particularly liked was Kirsten the park host regularly checked up on us to ensure everything was okay and genuinely took the time to get to know us a little. Already looking to rebook for later in the year.

Only downside was that we couldn’t have stayed for longer.

This is a very small, quiet site.(there is a road up above the back of the site but it was never loud enough to bother me) The views are amazing, every morning waking up to see a panoramic view of the hills and the river glistening was a real treat.
The communication via text to let us know about checkin was fantastic and replied promptly. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We walked in to our caravan, it was beautifully clean and smelt clean. The kitchen had everything you needed. I usually take a few bits of my own, peeler, grater, tongs, sharp knife but all this was already there and more.
Showers, always an important part, beautifully warm and good pressure.
We had a little issue with hot tub on arrival (kids wanted to get in within 5 minutes of arriving) but quickly explained to us that they were aware of the problem earlier in the day and it was just an hour behind warming up. After that wonderfully warm. Come to think of it we checked in a little early so it was probably spot on but it highlights how approachable and efficient the staff were.
Table and chairs on balcony and nice picnic bench beside hot tub.
Parking right next to your caravan.
Loads of storage space in lounge, bathroom and bedroom.
Thanks for providing us with a piece of tranquility to explore the area and make memories.

A fabulous place to have a wonderful quiet holiday with beautiful views across the valley. Lovely new caravans that are furnished & cleaned to a very high standard with hot tubs as an added extra. Excellently situated for visiting different places throughout Cornwall & Devon.

What can I say.. We found this holiday when we were on the brink of giving up as everywhere seemed to be fully booked, I can honestly say we have no regrets and feel we were lucky with this find.
From arrival day to the day of leaving everything was perfect, we were contacted via the park host Kirsten to confirm a vague arrival time and instructions on how to 'check in' and a map of where the caravan was on the site.
Kirsten also managed to pop a highchair in the accommodation for us at a moments notice. Which was a huge help as I had forgotten to take ours with us as I had planned.
The caravan was spotlessly clean, I couldn't find a speck of dust!!
We stayed in Cotehele (43) which is on the end and a perfect spot to be hidden away - Plus can I just add that the VIEWS ARE AMAZING! You can see for miles. The view alone made this trip worthwhile.

We all jumped in the hot tub within an hour of checking in and it was hot.. It stayed this way for the duration of our stay (we have stayed at other places and it drops quickly but that is not the case here)
The 'park' is quiet and peaceful even with families staying.
We will definitely being returning in the future.. and recommend to friends and family.

Thank you Kirsten & Tamar Valley for a lovely stay.

The location was perfect, easy to find and plenty to do nearby. The view from the balcony was lovely and as the weather was good we were able to enjoy our meals outside. The hot tub was great and it was the perfect way to end our busy days. The home had everything we needed and was very clean. We liked the hard floor as it made it easy to wipe clean after wet feet and paws. We would love to stay again.

Fantastic location we stayed in the polperro lodge, which had a hot tub on the balcony area with fantastic views towards the tamar and rolling countryside. The accommodation was a great size and really clean. This site is dog friendly and there are some great walks close by. The staff are also so helpful, they do have other sites which we are going to look into.

Stayed for 4 nights in Polperro Lodge easter monday to friday. On arrival we were very impressed with our lodge, everything you need for a self catering holiday and very clean. The site itself is also well mantained and the view from our lodge was spectacular. We did however find the the bed in our double room not so comfy as it seemed to have springs sticking up,we turned the matteress over the next night and it was then fine. The lodge was dog friendly as stated so our small shi tzu was able to stretch his legs out on the balcony. No complaints really other than the weather(it rained every day) but you can't predict the weather,i just took my golf brolly in the hot tub with me 😁😁
