We visited The Bush Inn as part of my 40th birthday celebrations in Cornwall. They very helpfully booked us their whole dining area so my friends, their families and my dog could relax in front of the wood burning stove. The ale was fantastic, service was warm and welcoming and the food was brilliant. I had a steak with peppercorn...

We holidayed in the area and called the bush inn at 5pm on the Sunday evening to book a table as website said food served until 8pm. Was told by man on the phone that they were stopping at 6pm and I said oh ok well we could still make it to be told last orders taken at 545. Captain...

Lovely oldy worldy pub. Small and full of character. Very friendly staff. Sat in large garden and watched the sun go down. Small bedroom (room 2) and ensuite but adequate. Lovely shower. Nothing fancy but good value. Good old fashioned pub food. Lovely large tasty breakfast. Gluten free bread available. Free WiFi. Would recommend to friends and family.

Having booked the Bush Inn for a family dinner for 10 people, after a recommendation from friends, I can only say that the evening was a total disappointment. The service was a disaster, 5 of the meals arrived after a wait of 45 minutes, mains arriving before the starters, the other 5 mains arrived about an hour later, after complaining...

Stumbled across this place while out and about one afternoon. Very oldy worldly, open fire, low ceilings and beams. Excellent real ale in very relaxed surroundings. Enjoyed so much decided to go back one evening for a meal. Food was excelent with good selection and value for money. (A fried egg would have made the (large) mixed grill unbeatable). Service...

Can't speak highly enough of this place. A pub full of charm and character (which is quite hard to find these days) and excellent service. Had the beef and ale pie, which is hands down the best pie I have ever had. Thank you. (Dog friendly)

The pub is situated on the coast which would be very nice in the summer. We were made very welcome here by the landlord and the locals. With seats by the log fire and a very good dinner. There was free wifi in the bar.

Very quaint very old pub. staff were lovely and very welcoming. Had a really good dinner that was good value for money. My only issue was that the whole place could do with a good clean and decorate. It's not very nice eating breakfast looking at mould growing on the walls. I realise it's a very old building but these...

Oh what a fab place. Have stayed here in the past and at The Rectory both stunning. It's like stepping back in time. Food at The Bush is first class but you must do the circular walk round behind the Rectory down the valley up to Hawkers hut. Church was being dressed for Harvest Festival, lovely afternoon.

Wednesday night evening meal in a quaint 13 century pub with 3 foot thick walls an small windows. Lovely ambience in the pub. Food was very quick in coming and was excellent. I had mixed grill the best I have ever had, 2 sausage, lamb chop, pork chop, steak, chips and salad all beautifully cooked. My wife had the haloumi...
