Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here for two nights, using at a base for touring the Austrian mountain passes.
Warm welcome from Karl.
Bathrooms have been renovated; shower is powerful, with long lasting heat.
Bed is comfortable, although the double bed only had a single duvet...which seemed a little odd.
Great choice of food available for breakfast.
Three-course main evening meal was exceptional both nights.
Great location, great views, great food, great host.
Will be returning next year!

Came here for a night away after a day of exploring the area by motorbike.
Hotel is clean, room (212) is a decent size, shower is hot.
Restaurant is great...food is superb. Portions are mighty, ingredients are fresh, meals are tasty.
Owner, chef and all-round nice guy Karl-Heinz is the perfect host...I'll definitely be coming back.

Hotel Reinerhof is the place you are dreaming of when you are a child and this is really happening: a fantastic view from the hotel, in a quiet village surrounded by mountains, a warm welcome by Karl-Heinz, local cuisine from a Top Chef, a SPA to relax and many activities nearby. If you like walking, trekking, hiking, cycling, even playing "pétanque" this is a perfect place to stay with your friends and family altogether. Although we like traveling to different places, this is a hotel where we will go back like if it is our second home with good wines and amazing desserts as definite incentives!

….makes sure that you arrive and feel at home straight away! It's great that there are still hosts like Karl-Heinz who have turned their passion into their profession and who offer warm hospitality! He lovingly prepares breakfast and dinner himself and is always available to help guests - thumbs up!

Yes, at home.
This is exactly how it feels in the house of Karl-Heinz, an exquisite person who manages this which to define as a hotel is an understatement.
Hotel skilfully furnished and enriched by his excellent personal taste. He expertly prepares excellent mouth-watering dinners, in which the quality of the raw materials is the basis. The breakfast is also healthy and genuine in its sweet products (excellent homemade jams), and savory (how can we not mention the speck and the delicious cheeses.
All this is seasoned by his splendid hospitality, he always has a word of interest towards his guests, always ready to suggest daily activities.
Personally, this is our second time staying at this property, the first time 5 years ago, in the summer, while the second was on New Year's Eve this year, in the splendid setting of snow-covered Riva di Tures. Even before I had few doubts, Now I don't have any more, and when we return to the Aurina valley, it will only be to return to the great Karl -Heinz.
