We visited this lovely, quiet camp site in June 2022. You have to join the Greener Camping Club (£12 a year) to visit. It is set in the countryside of the Teifi valley and we were in the lower field amongst the cherry and apple trees. Run as a green/eco site by Karen and Rikki, we found them very welcoming and loved the atmosphere. Red kites flew overhead as we ate our breakfast and despite a few raindrops we enjoyed our holiday and found it a good base for travels in the area. There is a compost loo, which was easy to use and a great shower. You can help yourself to any polytunnel produce in season, with an honesty box for contributions. We benefited from the loan of a gazebo over the tent entrance for shelter. There was a fridge and drying room. You can have a cooked breakfast to the tent if you wish and fire pits are available. They have rescue chickens that supply eggs and friendly cats. We'd love to go back! 😁

We stayed here for two nights in August. The welcome was really friendly and we had a thorough tour of the campsite and freedom to pitch where we wanted. The unique difference with TOPO is that they offer a cooked breakfast, which was fantastic and even delivered to your tent in the morning, perfect! The campsite has everything you could need, including a large shed offering free use of a variety of camping equipment of everything you could think of. The shower was spacious and had plenty of hot water, with a useful area adjoining to get dressed. All in all, it is thoroughly recommended and we cannot wait to return. Also, for those that don't like leaky roofs and getting rained on, there is also an umbrella waiting for you in the shower ;-)

I stayed with Karen and Ricci at TOPO Camping in September, partway through a long, hard charity cycle tour. I was run down, exhausted and very smelly, having cycled a very hilly 60 miles that day. As I got closer, Karen and Ricci were waiting outside to welcome me in, with a warm hello. Their campsite is in an idyllic location, in perfect solitude. The low-impact commitment was inspiring and I enjoyed one of the best showers of my whole 40-day trip. That evening, Karen brought me a pot of tea, showed me around their garden wonders and introduced me to their lovely chickens. We all chatted for some time about camping, the world and chickens. I feel like I made friends that evening. For dinner, I also got to cook some of their delicious homegrown veggies on the campstove. It was perfect and exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay there for longer!

First of all I would like to say Karen and Rikki are without a doubt the best hosts you will ever have on a campsite. We loved every minute of our stay, the weather was not great, that did not detract from the beauty of the site We saw red kites, green woodpeckers and a whole host of others. We loved the ethos, pick your home grown veg and pop some money into the piggy bank. Very eco friendly and peaceful. We will DEFINITELY return, oh and I should ha e mentioned Karen's gorgeous cooked breakfast delivered to your tent if you wanted 😀 Berwyn and Ann August 2021.

We read glowing reviews before booking and can say that they were all very accurate. Karen and Rikki were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The campsite is in a beautiful location and close to many points of interest. You can tell that the site owners frequently camped for their holidays as they had thought of everything. A well stocked shed had absolutely anything you would need! Games, matches, tables, sleeping bags, even a spare tent! The site was in a dark skies area. So we were lucky to have beautiful sites of the night sky and the milky way. It was also incredibly quiet and peaceful. Karen and Rikki have created a rare and niche place which is ideal for a relaxing camping trip. The breakfasts were incredible, and to be able to book a full English whilst camping is pretty special! There was a lot of care into the eco aspect of the campsite too. It was our first experience of using a compost toilet but we were both pleasantly surprised as everything was neat, tidy and clean. The polytunnel with freshly grown veg and herbs which you could help yourself too and contribute to the honesty box was another very special touch. We will definitely be returning to this special place and can fully recommend! Book now to avoid disappointment 😊. Thanks for a lovely stay Karen and Rikki! Laura and Eric x

Topo Eco Camping is a real unique find, well immerse in the quietness of the valley, with stunning views and only the sounds of the birds and cows to wake up to :-). Everything is eco friendly and so well kept, neat, tidy, spotless clean, honestly a 5 stars camping experience! Karen and Rikki are top hosts and amazing people, friendly, welcoming and so accommodating! We arrived a little later than expected, hitting the traffic on a Friday night of the May Bank Holiday weekend, but that wasn't a problem. and we still had plenty of time to pitch the tent, and have a tour of the facilities, which ended with a lovely cup of tea and fresh shortbread biscuits baked by Karen. The place is so quiet, for adults only and with only 2 tents pitched for the weekend, it was a real treat! You can properly switch off from the fast city life, as there is no reception on your phone, but you really never feel the need for it. Rikki and Karen have a lovely shed where they keep all the essential, should you have forgotten any, and there is a fridge and freezer to keep your food in. Tourist information are provided, as well as games and board games and fresh eggs for sale, made fresh from Karen's loving "girls", rescued chicken, whom Karen and Rikki love like their children. The cherry on top of the cake is the amazing English breakfast they provide, it can be served by your tent and it is so delish!! (Photo attached and it is a veggie option). Karen and Rikki also grow their own herbs and rhubarb, which we were welcomed to help ourselves to, and from which we made a lovely rhubarb crumble (also photo attached). All in all it was such an amazing, relaxing weekend and my partner and I can't wait to go back!

We just returned from TOPO and absolutely loved it. It is so quiet and peaceful and due to Covid restrictions- we had a whole field to ourselves! There was only one other couple there who were in a separate field. This wouldn’t be a good place for groups as it is a quiet campsite. The sun was shining during our visit, making the views wonderful. Karen & Rikki (the hosts) were welcoming, friendly and helpful and we were provided with a fire pit (free to use and £4 for logs). The facilities were faultless. There was a fridge/freezer for us to use at our leisure. More than enough cleaning and sanitary products provided. There is a sink (to wash dishes), a kettle and plug sockets you can use and they even provide places to charge your phone! The shower is spacious and powerful and lots of hooks in there to ensure clothes don’t get wet. We spent the day in Newquay which was around a 35 min drive. Lots of beautiful towns nearby and things to do. Overall, a great campsite for couples who want a quiet break away.

As our 3 day stay went on I was more convinced that TOPO campsite is less a camping business, more a vehicle to spread joy and happiness in the world! Karen and Rikki were fantastic hosts who couldn't be more helpful or welcoming - even providing some much needed and very appreciated extra cover for our tiny tent as the weather that weekend was threatening to be really bad. Everything about the campsite is so well thought out and designed - you can tell its a labour of love. The shower in particular is a highlight. And you should definitely go for the cooked breakfast at least one day that you are there - with proper Welsh bacon - the thickness of gammon. Its all so well presented and delicious. The wildlife is also ridiculously good, seeing a red kite flying low on more than one occaision during our stay. We'd also recommend a visit to Farmyard Nurseries - the carnivarous plants were a highlight. We had a fab stay and will definitely be back again. Julian and Tara (Bristol)
